That is truly disgusting. People who spits in the street are people without education. They have no shame and etiquette. I don't spit in the street. What I also hate are those jeepney drivers who spits.

HI, it is hard to control other people mind... I know it is totally disgusting and I hate it too... but ppl just dont know what to mind other people around. if you see this kind of situation... you should turn away or move the table then he/she might realized what went wrong

I spit all the time from the hour I leave home 'til the time I arrive. I'm also drooling most of the time.

I really hate these kind of people doing this. For me, they are uncivilized and they don't have manners at all. I really hated it especially when I get to pass by these kind of people. It is disgusting because we know that it is dirty and that there is a lot of germs and viruses we can get from it even if we don't get to touch it. Viruses fly you know, so we really have to cover our nose and mouths when we are near these no manners people.

I think if you have time, you must visit China and go to their rural areas. When you come back, you will say that you are thankful the Philippines and the people here do not spit like that yet. LOL

Yes i agree with you i hate them when they spit even on public places. People are just so annoying when they so that as if they are the ones cleaning the streets. Haiiiz

Yeah, the feeling is mutual i hate people spitting infront of me or in my sight range, I don't know how people are so insensitive not thinking what people may feel or react with this disgusting act.,

I hate spitting in general. People who spit on the sidewalk, in the grass, in the trash can. Ugh, and the sound that comes along with it. It all is just disgusting to me. And worst people who spit on other people. That is the most disgusting thing i have ever seen, and i seen it more than once. Just nasty.

Spitting everywhere is really disgusting and also not healthy. Here in our city there is an ordinance of No to Spitting. But there are people who still spits everywhere, I think these people lack discipline and respect.

I think it depends on where you live. I live in the US and people here spit regularly on the street or anywhere, as long as it's not a place where people walk barefoot. I wouldn't enjoy it on the beach, for instance. I spit because I hate swallowing my own mucus. People with phlegm problems often spit because it clogs the throat. If I had to use tissues, it would be a waste of paper. I would use like a box a day. Sorry!

I think spitting is perfectly normal. And as long as you don't overdo it, it's okay. as for it spreading germs, we have parasites all over our bodies as it is.. I'm pretty sure someones saliva on the sidewalk wont make you sick.

when i was younger i do that, har har har maybe because guys looks tough when they do that i dont know. but when i matured, when i started to hang out with matured people eventually i stop doing that. but the mannerism that i can not change is when i taste something on my food i spit it out. my wife ( she was my gf back then) always say thats what the tissue papers are for, so i guess she was patient on teaching me that and after a few months i make sure i had tissue with me in case.

Yes it is very disgusting!!! That is why I always watch where I am walking!! That is so gross!! Yesterday I was at the bus and this guy kept spitting and it was very windy outside!! Yuck!!! Why can't people have any manners? If I have to spit I will hold it until I can use the restroom somewhere. I don't do this sort of thing in public No Way!!!

I know somebody who is perfectly okay until he gets drunk and starts to pee and spit anywhere he wishes (except inside a house) , really disgusting, shows lack of self control perhaps

It really depends. I dont spit unless I have to. Like I`m abit sick right now. I`m coughing up phelgm. I dont know if I`d do it in the street though. Probably use a tissue like you said. But if I have to spit, I`ll spit. I do find those people spitting casually disgusting too.

I hate them too. For me, you have to do this in a private place. Be considerate to others, Aside from spreading the germs it is not a pleasant scene for me.Why don't you excuse yourself for a while and do that thing...It's really hard to teach some people simple manners. It's another way of showing your respect.

Spitting isn't that gross. People do it to get the unwanted stuff out of their mouth. spitting doesn't make you unsanitary, or even rude. But you have to use common sense when you do spit. Like, not inside or anything like that. As for doing it on the sidewalk or street, I don't have any problem with it. There could be worse things.
