Just a moment ago,i walked home from my workplace when in the light of the street lamp i saw three pupil girls climbing a tree along the streetside to pick its flowers.i spoke tenderly to them:"No climbing trees, please!"and the reply was "uh-oh!", then i regretted.Do i have to say that outside the school?

hi there, i don't see anything wrong about what you did. if anything bad happened it could have also made you even worse for not even trying to warn them.

Sometimes the parent in us, just take's over...and I am guessing, if I were in your situation, I might have done the same thing! Are you right..in my books, YES!But I truly think, it is/was the manner of your approach that can be either effective or not! From what you have written, I think you interfered properly, and often

Maybe your purpose is good but the words you used is not proper, my friend. You should say to those pupil not to climb the trees due to some prohibition... I am in your side, my friend. You don't worry about it. Because even if your outside the school or not. It is your responsibility to protect the girl from any harm just in case they are falling down...

There wasn't anything wrong for you to advise those innocent girls for not climbing the tree. However, you should just advise them by interpreting the consequences in climbing the tree at the road side. Never instruct them for not doing so because you were just a passer-by without any authorization. It is good to advise someone tactfully and other people will accept your advise without embarrassing or irritating them.

I did that without any instructings,of course i didn't walk close to them to persuade them in detail.Have fun!

If I were you, I think I would have done that as well. There's no right or wrong in this world. You've chose the action that you believed to be the most appropriate at the time, so I would say, a good job done!

I agree with you.I always think that nothing is right forever, and even you think something is right, but in others' opinion,it's wrong.Of course i do what i think i have to do.Have a new good weekend!

Hi. Oldsix691418. Well, even though you felt out of place about telling these three pupil girls this, you did so in your best intention. At least you spoke to them tenderly without startling them in a rude and harsh voice. It is good that you have warned them. They could have gotten into serious trouble by someone else. Or they could have seriously hurt themselves by climbing a tree. I know that you did not want to interfere, but just you caring will make them more cautious about trying to pick flowers ever again. Great job on your part, Oldsix691418.

No, you don't have to say that outside the school. There is such a thing as boundaries. If you saw them by the ligh of a street lamp was it dark out? Were the flowers pretty? Why did you regret saying it? If you felt definite about what you were doing then why regret it? Is your job go that deep or?

Of course what you did was right. They might fall and get injured climbing the tree. It seems to me you just acted out of instinct so you don't have to worry about anything.

Now i think that's really an instinct without thinking over, and i didn't have to do so.

Hi Oldsix. What do you mean you are never a kibitzing man? I looked it up on wikipedia and could not find it. If you was looking out for the children then you are not at fault. You was concerened I wish there was more adults concerned for all the children in this world. This place might be a safer place to live if more people took into consideration of others. Don't regret it my friend you might have saved them from being really hurt.

No you were not wrong. You did good job. It's not good to pick flowers and children should stop to pick flowers from the tree. And some time it's dangerous they should stop to climbing the tree. Have a good time!

I would've phrased it more like a warning ... something like 'Are you sure you're not gonna fall?' ( at which point I run over and start shaking the tree ); but you're in the right!

I can see you are so patient. But if one of them fell off the tree while you were telling them that, you would be 'lucky' enough, hehe

i think you did the right thing! because it is really dangerous for kids to climb up a tree because if they fall and you didn't say anything or warn them you will surely feel bad about it right.. soo i think you did the right thing :)

it's for their own safety. climbing a tree on their own is not good. so probably that would help them realize sooner if they got into accident :).

Yeah I feel you did right you were simply concerned with their safety and you were pleasant about it. As to their reply some kids are outright not concerned with their safety and actually should sort of be grateful. If one of them falls and breaks a leg or neck then they will remember that you were kind in caring.

DO what u think is right. I don't say what those girls are doing is wrong, but it does not mean i agree with their actions too. What matters most is, u voiced out your thoughts with good intentions meant. Whether they listen to u and take your word seriously, it's for them to judge. U have played your role there and there should be no regrets.

Are you a teacher or something at a school? I'm just curious because it sounds like you might be used to watching kids to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to and it is a habit. You have a good week!

At my workplace i have to watch kids, but that night i really did an inopportune thing, and i can say i never have that habit.Have a nice day!
