Does ghost really exist?

Hello xien2xien, I am Christian, and I was not believing in ghosts until the day I rented a haunted house. During three years in this house I often heard -- once or twice a month -- a person walking, smashing doors, going upstairs and downstairs, and even using my kitchen to cook. However I never saw anybody. My coworkers were laughing about "my" ghost. I invited them for a week end : in the middle of the first night everybody was waked up by the sound of a door smashed brutally. This door was locked and two of my colleagues were sleeping in the room : next morning quite all of them left my house, and the only comments I got after that was that I was mad to stay in this house. I never heard a ghost after I left this house, which was known to be haunted before I rented it. I cannot speak about your friend, but today I will not reject the idea that she saw a ghost...

If someone told me that there is a ghost beside me, i will just ignore him. In my opinion, I don't believe in ghost. Ghost is just a product of our imagination, or the effect of what we saw from movies and television.

Hi ... I have no belief on ghost. I neither believe god nor ghost. I have not ever faced any situation regarding ghost. Once a neighbor came to my home and said to my father that he had seen a ghost near a pool here. He said that he saw that at the midnight. Later me and one of my friend, waited there to saw that ghost and as usual no ghost was there. take care.

Yes,ghosts really exist,and if there are ghosts around me,I ignore her,when she dose not exist,because I am not afraid of ghosts,I remember one time I saw a ghost,that night I was sleeping when he heard Some people outside the door,I went to open the door,but what I have seen,I went back to sleep,suddenly saw a white ghost from my bed to fly past.

Hi there, I never believed in ghosts in my entire life but recently i saw this TV show on MTV India called as 'girls night out'. This show actually proved that ghosts exist and there are paranormal activities going on. The spirits of human body don't die and are found wandering in the surrounding. I believe ghosts are exist as a creature of God which live in different dimension. but not like dracula, or voodoo. ghosts whisper to human ears to do bad things and this is human challenge to ignore what the ghost've said and do the good things.

Well, I think it's difficult to prove this. Though I don't believe in ghost, I have friends told me that they really saw the ghosts. These are some friends I really believe in, and I know they are not talking nonsense, I can't explain why they'd have this kind of experience or seen something that we usually don't see. I believe there are some thing we can't explain, and science can't explain. It's a bit contradictory, but I just don't think or argue about this. As I really don't see it by myself, it's hard for me to say it exists.

Personally, I can say that not all Christans don't believe in ghosts...my mum was a Christian when she was alive & believed in ghosts as we lived in a haunted apartment when I was a toddler & she lived in a haunted house as a teenager...I have Christian beliefs & believe in ghosts - I have seen some too...I do remember my mum saying something along the lines of ghosts being demonic...If my friend said something along those lines to me about a gjost being next to me, I wouldn't run, I would want to try to investigate this by trying to communicate with the ghost.

Yup , I believe in the existence of ghosts ... though I don't like to cross paths with them at all , I believe they are there , in another dimension which they can see me and us humans but we can't.

If she is very keen and sensitive to the paranormal, I will believe her. I think that some of us can see things that others cannot. That is how Melissa Gordon on Ghost Whisperer saw the "unseen spirits". I would run with her. I also may have the nerve to ask her to ask the spirit something about me that I may feel that no one else knows.

I do believe that there are beings other than us but just because we are to "worldly" we do not notice them. I also know that that the Catholic church do believe in them, they even have priests who do exorcism..but i guess the church just do not announce it.

I believe in ghosts!! They are real I have seen some and I have felt something sitting on my bed when I was asleep and I looked and there was no one there at all not even the kitties they were in the other room!! So yes they are real and yes I was scared!

I did hear and experience the matter of spirit in our life. I really believe in Ghost. But I am not sure about God. I can differentiate the Ghost and the God. Ghost is the spirit of someone who passed away. God is also the spirit of someone who passed away. For instance, Jesus was a human-being too. Later, everyone treats him as God after he passed away. I met a lady ghost once. She was in other race. The descriptions as the way she walked, the time she disappeared or returned to her place under the ground was exactly what our race believe in. She was really a ghost I met. I believe in ghost after this experience.

For me , I will just ignore her. Because I don't really believe in ghost, but if I really see a ghost then I will believe. hehe. To see is to believe

You know, in this world, there are a lot of things that have been previously deemed impossible that have been proven to be true. Therefore, while I am not going to outright believe that there are ghosts out there, I would really be a fool not to believe it either. There are just too many things that cannot be explained that might consider to be some ghostly presence. On the other hand, I'm not sure if I really want to believe that there are ghosts out there. When you think about it, a lot of it is either outright hoaxes or someone overreacting to a situation that is unfamiliar to them, but perhaps could be explained with a lot of logical thought. Then again, logic is often times a foreign concept. Still there is very much a possibility of ghosts out there due tot he simple fact that there are a lot of strange things in this world.

I saw in a place that everybody was saying that house was haunted. I sit in front of it and for 15 minutes I think I was already laughing inside cause there was nothing there, then I saw a girl and she just appear in the window looking directly at me, I couldn't move.

That's one of those thing's I'd say I believe could be possible, but I have no reason or just have never had the belief I am sure of that they exist. I think they probably do not but my mind is open enough for it. You can believe whatever you choose to and forget about your religion, just because you belong to the Christian church, as do I, does not mean you have to believe each and every thing that falls under it.

Oh god It is very difficult to imagine that gost is standing besides me and my friend can sea him.Well if my friend will say this at any crowded place then I wont believe him but if my friend will say this near any haunted place then I will definately prefer to run away from the place.I still don't sea any ghost in my life but I accept that I fear to go near haunted places.I am regular viewer of HAUNTED serial on Discovery they shows technical proof of existance of ghosts. I don't believe in ghosts.I think some people just have an over-active imagination.

As far as the story goes, the image won't be constant which means that the thing which we call it as ghost is nothing but a kind of energy. Now, energies can be positive and negative as well. We have energies in us as well, its all up in the mind. Whenever there is some kind of different energy around you which is not the energy you have that is "life", you tend to feel the difference and you start reacting to it thinking its a ghost. Its always recommended that one should go far from the place where you are feeling such things as negative energies can harm you as well just like i said earlier as it is all up in the mind, that also means that it may affect your mind negatively.
