Some women just have a gut feeling and know when they are pregnant. But the earliest you can have it confirmed is around the date of your first missed period. As others have said there are tests that can be done a few days earlier. But always bare in mind that you can have a false negative result!

The earliest time that is reliable is at the time the next period would be due. Many ladies that have gone past the expected day their period is due do a home pregnancy test. The more expensive home pregnancy tests are the most sensitive I would say. It is best to test with urine first thing in the morning. For example on days 1 to 5 the lady might have her period. On day 29 she would be expecting her next period but it doesn't arrive. She does a home pregnancy test on day 30 and it says positive. The lady should be taking folic acid so it is sensible she finds out as soon as possible that she is pregnant.

I think the soonest to find out whether you are pregnant or not is when you miss your next period. When I miss my second period, I kind of figured I was pregnant with all the sickness so I did a pregnant test to confirm.

There is some symptoms that can diagnose in home that prove the pregnancy. In pregnancy means will not happen what usually occur every months.Women will feel vomiting and some time she will feel headache. This things make realize them that they are pregnant. Have a good time!

They have a few pregnancy tests out that say they can tell you a few days before you even miss your first period. So depending how pregnant you are when you take the test, I would say 3 or 4 weeks pregnant would be about the earliest. The earliest I found out was 7 weeks. With my third child I just kind of knew. I went to the doctor and they thought I was 10 or 11 weeks but they couldn't hear the heartbeat yet. So they sent me back for an ultrasound and found out I was only 7 weeks.

Hi shyraaaa and a warm welcome to myLot. I has been my experience that the best time would be shortly after missing the first menstrual period. Although there are many types of over the counter urine tests. Best and more accurate in my opinion would be a doctors blood test.
