myLot and Gmail Are Related To Each Other

I don't think myLot and gmail are 'related'! You must have given your gmail email address at the time of registration. May be I could say myLot and Yahoo are related!. I get myLot mail at my Yahoo email address. It is a great help, these notifications from myLot.

Yes mylot mail come to my gmail I ignore it as there is too much stuff in my inbox. I just go to mylot itself and respond on new disscussions. Most of my mail isn't from mylot as I don't have many friends because I don't add friends I just accept friend requests. For me mylot and gmail aren't related.

i also have email account with gmail. but it's not what i use with mylot. i have another email account with the other search engine. i also usually read and response from email.

Hi july teen: I don't think so. From what I read from th eopther members of the site, they receive the same amount that you are receiving in your Gmail account. I use the notifications from my email to find the discussions of my friends and I usually respond those that I find interesting. Notifications are a great help to keep me working on Mylot. ALVARO

I don't have a gmail address. But I do have all my alerts set to on. I bounce back and forth so I do not miss out on perhaps someone leaving me a comment that needs further commenting from me. I clean out my inbox almost daily simply because it would be way too much to deal with later. I do filter my emails so that they are organized in a way so I don't miss out on other perhaps important emails form other sites and or family members. I was out of the the internet for 9 full days and was not able to log into any online site and or my email and I came back to 3500 unread myLot alerts. Took me almost a full week to go through them all and must admit that I do not respond to all, most but not all. Because unless I can contribute to a discussion I do not want to add simply to add. Would not be fair on my behalf is my thinking. I am not sure about your question as to boost earnings because we only earn for what we participate with so if you participate then earnings I am sure would be the same and or less if you don't is my thought. So my thought is if you have the alerts set to off and you do not go to the tabs themselves then you perhaps are missing friends posts. But it is a preference, some people keep them on and some turn them off. Because I filter my emails to come in specifically to certain folders I set I feel I can control them that way.

i don't think they are related, i have some of my notification on so i also receive few notification from mylot which sometimes flooded my email inbox, although most of them are from facebook ^_^, try to turn off your friend's notification, see if the emails will decrease....although it is a good idea having it on in order to keep updated about your friend's post and so on..good luck

Hi julyteen, 40%of my gmail inbox is filled by mylot notifications only, so its all about responses , comments, friends discussions and but i likes this.

I use Gmail too but not for myLot and indeed I have never had any maik there from myLot at all I also use the notifiers and have them all set to 'on' - but I do get behind with responding because I tend to get 'stuck' on certain topics. Rather than responding on many I spend time on a few, commenting backwards and forwards. I never delete the notifiers though so one day I might get round to responding to them sll
