Clixsense Toolbar

Okay so I downloaded the Clixsense toolbar for Google Chrome, but it seemed to slow down my browsing experience. After about 3-4 weeks of putting up with this I got fed up and uninstalled, and voila!!!! My browser went back to its normal speed again. I admit I miss the immediate update on when the ads were available, but well, I've come up with an alternative, which is to keep a tab open for clixsense.com and I have been getting a few ads per day, since I click back to check quite frequently. It does get annoying when toolbars slow things down!

Thank God....my browsing has been really frustrating. I had a hunch that it could be the Clixsense toolbar, but I was not really convinced. I thought it must be my connection. It gets really bad in the last 2/3 days. After reading this discussion, I uninstalled the toolbar, and now, it's back to normal.
I thought there's something really wrong with my laptop. Phew!!!!

The toolbar is probably in Beta mode, it needs to be refined, there's not many toolbars out there for Chrome as opposed to the mozilla-type browser like Firefox and IE and Safari.

I really thought it was my fault. I run my Anti-virus check, update, clear cookies and caches, etc...nothing helped. I thought of giving it back to the technician to find out what's wrong.
Like I've mentioned in the previous box about the Chrome Reloader, that problem is no longer there.
Thank you for making this discussion. You literally solved my problem.

me too im having the same problem, i installed the toolbar 2 weeks ago. I actually haven't yet removed the toolbar because its very useful when theres an add available but on the other hand it slows me. Im trying to find a way to keep my toolbar and to make the browser speeds up, im not sure if theres any but im hoping there is.

I think it is the toolbar that is slowing it down, but I'm using Chrome, which browser are you using? Look down at Hardworkinggirl's post, right below yours, I'm going to try our her idea, let's both see how it works for us! :-D

im using chrome on clixsense because of the toolbar. I've been also using check4change on my other browsers and it doesnt affect my browser. Well, im going to uninstall my toolbar and stick with C4C afterall. I hope C4C will also solve your problem masihi.
Have a nice day
