That is almost certain, i do not think he will be there in the next world cup. so sachin should want to make this world cup memorable.

These all are the dream situation which all Indian fans are looking forward. surely sachin may not be playing the next worldcup. so probably this will be his last worldcup match. The match is scheduled at mumbai, which was intentionally done by BCCI. surely BCCI had the hope that India will reach the final and it has happened. And Sachin's 100th odi century thats the situation sachin has created, every cricket fan would love to watch that glourious moment from sachin. hope that he will make it and also complete 500 runs in this worldcup. And surely If sachin makes century then Indian team had a solid chance to win the match and India will make it large.

Of all the blunders that BCCI has done over the years, this was one decision that they got spot on. Cheers! Ram

'Tathastu', Let everything what you said come true. That must be the wishlist of every Indian for Saturday's match. What an occasion for the grand finale of 2 decades long glorious carrier of a great man, world cup final in his home town. Perfect setting for grand send off and a 100th international hundred. Time for celebrations.

It definitely was the icing in the cake of the master's career. If anything the way India won it was better as the other player's did it for him. I think Virat Kohli said it right "It is high time we carried him on our shoulders!!". Cheers! Ram

Hi Ram All that you wish may come true. and I wish you the very best. I will be happier if this turns out to be Sachin's last game. His innings was painful to watch yesterday, the end seems near but the quality of bowling has gone down so much that he can prolong it some more but his struggle will be difficult to endure. Success may mean everything but why do we feel empty after a successful campaign against arch rivals Pakistan? Quite simply if batsmen over 35 are thriving in today's cricket it is because the quality of bowling has gone down. The decline in quality is sad. We all know Sachin is possibly the greatest ever batsman but what we see today is a only successful performer, but then fools like me think cricket is a game. It has become a corporate business. The selection committee is a honorary assignment given to dedicated people but no one bothered about their accommodation at Mohali /Chandigarh where as corporate jets and private airplanes were landing at the near by air force airfield. One can see the shift in priorities now. The corporates are taking over this tremendous business opportunity and in future you may see a fat Mukesh Ambani junior going out to toss with Sidharth Mallya and facing upto some benign bowling. The thought is frightening.

Though my wish with Sachin did not take off, we did go on to win the World Cup which was excellent. And actually it had a better tinge to it, for the team finally carried the master for a change. You are right now is the time for the master to step down. BTW, selection is no longer an honorary assignment. They get paid for their job. Cheers! Ram
