At this world cup, I know all the Indians will cheer for India, But there is one Indian, who will definitely cheer for Sri Lanka. That's Murali's wife, Madhimalar. As our asian women loves their husbands, Madhi will always wish, cheer, hope and pray for Sri Lanka's victory, and success for her husband.
What do you mylotters think about it?

Hello,
Why should she necessarily cheer for Sri lanka? If she is originally from India she would cheer for India too. We Indians follow the creed "Janani Janmabhumi swargadapi gariashi" - means - mother and motherland are higher than heaven.
In this case she could cheer for both the countries.

No, I do not think it would be cheating. Or she could simply enjoy the game without getting involved into it as we do while watching the football world cup matches.

Totally agreed.
Srilanka has been protecting Gifts from India very well.
For example,
Buddhism was born in India, but now Srilanka has protected it for mote than 2500 years. Murali's ancestors was from India, And Srilanka was able to find and race murali for the man he is today. And I remeber India granted Srilanka a small island called "Kachchativu", and Srilanka was able to protect it from terrorists. And now the Madhimalar, She is a beautiful gift from India.
I wonder this world cup will be the next gift..............
........ Just kidding, lol ;)
There will be a war at the match.
Happy mylottings friends from Srilanka and India.......

It depends on whether she was interested in cricket or not, before she married Murali. If she was then she will naturally root for India but if her interest is because it is her husband's profession she will root for her husband.
If I remember right she had no interest in cricket before marriage. So you can expect her to favor Srilanka.
