hi simplyd, so you wish to see all your friends true pictures in mylot,first of all what is the proof that the avatar picture is yours,some people are old aged,they cannot show their realy faces to their friends just like me,i am not attractive also,so if you compell to true photo,you have to loose your friends in mylot,have a nice day

ohhhh friend nice discussion I want to put my family picture but I dont know how it is possible so tell me the procedure. This is not a way friend because if some people has no their photo then how can it is possible. Why the date is provided only 13th April. But dont worry you cant delete my friendship because my own photo is in profile ID. I am not so smart but I am not ugly so I think you like my smiling photo. In your profile ID your own photo if yes you are looking so good with smile

I would prefer to see a true picture of a person with whom I am corresponding, but how would I know. You could post a picture of your neighbor or your baby sister, and I wouldn't know the difference.

Hi SIMPLYD MyFamily Photo Well I had one done here - http://www.mylot.com/w/image/2433068.aspx Unfortunately, I have a few copies of me and my wife but they are all on the analog thing and are not digital. Even I am unable to upload any of the pics that I want to on my profile(I wanted the one above on my profile too but i cannot get it done)... But yes, I have my own pic on my avatar. Hope that I will remain on your friends list. Oh yes, may I ask why the date is set to April 13? If you can share and it is not too personal.

I find this to be a very shallow and unfair reason for deleting anyone from your friends list. People have a right to post any photo they choose and not have to think someone will delete them as friends for not putting up a personal photo of themselves.and to be honest, i have never heard anyone deny a freind request due to their avatar. IMO,We choose our friends based on thier interaction with us and our interest in their discussions and topics and feel this is the way it should be.Mylot is a "discussion" forum and friends should be chosen for that reason.

Am ok with that, what ever am doing i never post anything fake.I always post the real thing,so its my picture here the real me. Because people is stealing identity now a days , i still post my real pictures.We all understand, am the real deal.

I understand how you are thinking this way, you cannot feel for example if you see my avatar and to know who I am. But online identity specially for me who blog is always opened wide out there, I think when we show too much of our selves then we don't know who is looking, I think it's a little dangerous even. I've seen people being chased by trolls and these people showed their faces, shared their real pictures, even other things and these invisible and coward enemies even know where they live now. I think we have to be careful with what we share online, hopefully you are only sharing your pic in here, and not many information. For your own security.

Yes t is a writers block and in addition to this it is also an friendship site. So the details should be disclosed readily,like photographs and other information. But there are some persons who don't like to disclose those due to various reasons. We should understand it.

I do not and will not post my picture online for any reason. I am a private person and with identity theft going on these days it is not safe. Employers also go online and look up potential employees and if they find anything they don't like for any reason such as they don't like a picture or something a person posts they may not hire someone. I won't ever post my private information online including a picture of myself or my real name. I value my privacy online more than I value a myLot friendship. I guess we can't be friends.

I do not think that this is a good idea at all. One of the major draws of the internet is that people can remain anonymous. I know you are not on my friend list but even if you were I could not comply with your demand. I have no photos of myself, I have no camera and wouldn't know how to post a photo of me if I did have those things. I do think you are being unreasonable.
