Hello Friends.. First let me tell you its only about paypal problem with Indians.. But you all can share your suggestions. I know I should ask this to paypal but believe me I already emailed them about this 4 times.. But still no proper answer. As per new rule for Indians.. We can't keep money more than 7 days after received in paypal account. So we have to withdraw it. But let me tell you we not having any option to withdraw as only message appears that You can't withdraw money below 10$!!! Paypal told me that money less than 10$ will be automatically transferred to bank account by system. But I am having money more than 10 days now as i can't withdraw it because it is less than 10$. Another thing is that we can't purchase anything from paypal balance. But just came to know from friend that we can use that feature too!!!! I am not complaining as it is good for us as none of changes implemented yet ( at least for me ).. But what the hack is paypal doing.. They aren't implementing a thing whatever they announced !!! What do you think about this??

Really, we can still pay by using our Paypal balance??? That is indeed good news. I understand what you are saying...why make the rules if they are not going to implement it? My stupid opinion is that they made that rule and announcement just to satisfy the RBI. Just my idea.

I think I will try to purchase something with my balance - when I have enough balance to buy something, that is. I am not complaining that they chose not to implement the new rule. I am definitely annoyed that they made us all worry for nothing.

Hi akp So I am not alone... I have been emailing them and they just dont bother a response... not even we will get back to you or anything like this. There were speculations but till now nothing has been implemented. Their policy stays unchanged. That is good for us. I think the implementation or the declaration of the policy change was only asked for by the Government and like all other projects of our GREAT Government, this too is just in papers... nothing effective. But who cares, I am happy to have my last months 10USD still there and I will wait till I reach 200 USD for the payout... I am sure nothing will change until then

on the lighter side (could not resist ) I think the Indian Government has taken over control at Paypal and as our government is always so lazy, and confused, the same is happening right now at Paypal for India

200$ !!! That's big one.. Hope paypal will not change anything till you reach their.. Well I got reply from paypal about my queries.. But its shocking that all three replies were totally different.. First reply was telling that I should be able to make withdraw even below 10$ and they have cut down all fees below 7000Rs.. But nothing done.. As per second reply they told me that i should try to change currency in INR( Indian Ruppes) !!! and funny thing is that there is no INR currency in their system. So i replied them again and then they told me that after 7 days the money will be transferred to my bank account automatically by system.. And its also not done..

Hi akp,the whole thing is highly confusing and paypal has not been very communicative either regarding the recent changes. However, I am not going to take a chance, have decided to transfer whatever came into my ac this month to my bank account ...One can never be sure what will happen next?

Yes true.. Even i don't want to take chance.. But i can do nothing. I received 5$ in paypal and as per paypal rule we can't withdraw below 10$. So even i want to withdraw it i can't do anything. Its really confusing ..
