You are 9 years old? Or do you mean you are 19 years old?
I shave my legs when there is hair so I won't getmyself embarrassed in the summer when wearing shorts, skirts or dresses, I'm not a hairy woman but I think I should still do that. I have a little bit of facial hair above my upper lip but everybody does, I only shave it when I do a whole face make up, I don't wnat to keep doing that just in case if the pore will get big...

I am not a particularly hairy person. I stopped shaving my legs and underarms after college, oh, I did it sometimes, but not much.
However, the last time anything on me got shaved was for surgery and I figure that will be the ONLY times I get shaved if I have any control over it...
but, like I said, I'm not particularly hairy...
my roommate, on the other hand, says (and she's a fe-type-male too) "if I have to shave my face, I'll be d*mned if I'm going to shave my legs!"
She also has to shave her chest a bit, but won't do her underarms...
Unlike me, her hair is dark, mine was blond to start with and is now turning white, so mine was never really apparent anyway...

Hi insulin,
Unfortunately I am not a girl to share my experience with you. Still I know this problem. My wife's cousin has got hair like anything. Such hair on the first look would think it to be a man. She has got even mustache.
After consulting doctors for a long tine the hair is becoming lesser now. Just do not be crazy, let them grow and do not shave if they are not so thick and visible.
Personally speaking I admire women with a little hair on their legs and arms.

If you are not feeling inferior complexity due to this I do not think you have anything to worry about.
If this is due to hormonal dis balance doctors can bring it to your normal feminine level. You can try it out.

Hello, Insulin.
I guess, I am one of those lucky women who need not shave my legs. . I don't have a single hair strand visible on my legs. "Darn it!" As my sister would often exclaimed every time she saw my legs while shaving hers.
I don't like my man growing beards and all. I'm not sure but from short to hairless for me is a lot cleaner compared to covered one.
I'm so glad I can shave from shaving lotions and getting myself wounded. Oh, I'm bad with razors, by the way.

Well right now I am not shaving my legs cause it's cold and it keeps my legs warm, but during the summer I will shave my legs so that I can wear dresses and such because it is going to be hot. I am also going to shave my legs more later on because I am going to have a p.e. class and we are going to wear shorts so yeah I have shave my legs. I have more hair on my legs than my brother does which I find funny, but maybe it's because he is four years younger than me.

I started shaving my legs when i started working. I have to wear stockings, so i have to shave the hairs on them, because they tend to fold and don't look good with it that way.
Since then, i have been shaving my legs and like it that way. I shave it every morning as i take a bath. I shave it parallel to the grains of the hairs. Going against it, would result into chicken skin so don't do it that way.

I forget how old I was but I also hid it, well I told my mom and she told me I shouldn't yet. Actually I told her I shaved something else to if you catch my drift and that's what she told me I shouldn't shave.
In any case, my legs are hairy but Im about to shave them today. I like to keep mine smooth though.

I love how you say you are a 9 year old women lol thats really cute. And to mention, I didn't even know that you could grow hair on your legs at an so early age at 9. Since you did do this, mostly like against your mothers will. Your hair will grow the more you cut it. So young to start shaving, but since you did every day you shave it leads to the next day of shaving and the next. Hair grows back oh so fast!

I'm also a bit hairy, and i'm not comfortable wearing a skirt or a dress if i did not shave my legs. I used razors before but I think i'm allergic to it. once i shave my legs get itchy and i got rashes. i prefer waxing my legs. It hurts, yes. but you won't have to worry about the hair growing fast. when you started waxing, the hair grows slow and the strands of the hair got thinner.

I always shave my face. It's not because I think it looks weird or anything, but mostly because I feel its more hygenic.
I'm kind of paranoid when it comes to that, though. I exercise a lot as well, and having a few drops of sweat on my upper lip, caused by a mustach, really annoys me way too fast!
Eventhough I personally shave my face every time I see even the tiniest piece of hair (which results in shaving almost every day!), I admire those that grow some facial hair but make it look totally awesome. Usually on models or people like that, though. :)

I did shave my legs when I was in school and wasn't aware of waxing. And I don't think my mother would have approved of me waxing then. Anyway...all that shaving lead to dark coarse hair growing back and I had to do it regularly (this is contrary to what modern science says about shaving and hairy legs). When I was older, I started waxing...though a little painful, it gave me longer periods of time where I didn't need to bother with my legs looking pretty:) I also find that regular waxing DID make the hair growth less (atleast in my case) and I'm happy this way.

Ive never shaved my leg hairs ever. There was a time when I really wanted to because they are just too thick and curly that they could pass off as a man's legs. But, my Mom and my other relatives advised that I should never shave my legs because they would grow faster, thicker, and curlier. So I just let it go. I grew fond of my leg hairs actually.
However, I had my leg hairs waxed recently. It's another option that I was looking at but I thought that they were expensive and would hurt a lot. Anyway, I needed to get rid of those leg hairs because I had to wear a dress for my eldest cousin's wedding. It is already something for them to see me all girly and wear a dress so as a gift to her, I let her pick the dress and I presented myself well enough to pull it off. That means getting rid of the leg hairs.LOL
Surprisingly, waxing them didnt hurt as much as I thought. It was quite tolerable. It took me a few days to get used to the smooth feel.LOL Another surprise is that it took a long time for it to start growing. Today, it would be exactly 3 weeks since I had them waxed and they're only just starting to grow stubble. It can be itchy at times but it's okay.
Anyway, the attendant told me that I should maintain waxing them because the hair growth would be a lot less over time. Maybe you should try that too. Goodluck!^_^

I haven't tried shaving my legs ever. I do have little hair on my legs though and I prefer not to shave it because I don't want it to grow fast and thick. It will only make my legs look bad and I hate shaving it every time the hair grows. It's better when it's natural.

I never shaved my leg nor face. I do have pedicure, massage and facial, though. I guess when you do a pedicure and massage and facial, all growing hairs would fall in itself? Once, an American friend of mine asked me if I shaved my leg, I said no. Then she said that it could be because I don't have hairy legs. Now, it's not true, I do have hairs on my legs only that they are soft not coarse.

I don't shave, I wax every six months.
I don't like shaving, the hair grows back almost instantly.
I don't like to keep my legs hairy. I am also a hairy woman, but I take care of that and people never notices it, except for a nice pair of long legs--free of hair.
