Yes, most indian movies are around 3 hours long.3 idiots was in Hindi. Robot (Endhiran) was multi lingual (Tamil and I think it was dubbed into Hindi). The actor you watched in Robot is a very famous and popular actor down south (in South India). He is a demi-God in the state of Tamil Nadu where he is based. Robot was a very expensive project.

I am not much into comedies so I doubt if I would watch 3 idiots but Robot looks interesting, I am not big on science fiction but this does look good, I just hope it get released on DVD so I can see it. Is this the same movie you are talking about ? Enthiran ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enthiran

hi youless, there are lot of different languages in India,those are Hindi,Telugu,Tamil,Kannada,Malayalam,Marati,Bengali,Punjabi,Oriya etc etc,but i prefer to see movies in Telugu my mother tounge and Hindi my national language and English my international languages, i have not watched the movie 3 idiots, some body says that it is good movie,try any Telugu movie,if you wish i will send the video clipping,have a nice day

There are selected indian movies which stand out of typical movies which are being made!3 idiots is one such movie for sure which passes one good message to the audience.As of Robot,i dont think it is exceptional ... good one though. We have songs in between which kinda make movies lengthy.Great day.

Yes India maximum movie are lengthy. The old Indian movie was more lengthy. Some were more then 3 hours.And they have add so many music in there movie which make the movie more lengthy. I can suggests you one another Indian movie called "Koi Mil gaya". Very good and scientific movie. Hope you will not enjoy!

I am very happy you like Indian movies.They are indeed long and songs occupy a considerable part of the duration.However, this particualr 'RObot' has our famous Rajni kant and Aishwarya Rai in the lead and the film was pretty entertaining. Rajini kant speaks my mother tomgue Tamil in this film and though he himself is a Marati gentleman, he has sprung to extraordinary fame in our Tamil.He is supposed to have risen form the ranks and is renowned for his simplicity.

Yeah,I never watched even one Indian movie before last year...But in recent 2 years,I watched several Indian movies,and most of these movies is not bad... "my name is Kohan"...is interesting(well,disappointly the story happened in USA..) India is always a mysterious nation to me...I want to know more about it...Thanks for sharing...^^

hey that gajini was copy paste movie.It was made from some hollywood film.So you might have seen its english version actually. Watch Dhoom part one.There is second part which i did not like much.Dhoom is action movie. Fashion by Madhur bhadarkar is great movie.It revolves around fashion industry in India.

i also watch Indian movies and i like their movies thu it's kinda long because of the music,songs and dances. but ,its fine...i like the dances too. happy weekdays ahead

Nowadays, things are changing in Bollywood, 10 years back it was like, there will be 5-10 songs in a movie and at the end of the movies you will not be able to decide whether it was a movie or a song album. Recently, they have started a new funda in Bollywood, now they are copying the story from South Indian movies and Hollywood movies. yes it was do u see the three idots in telugu now it was remake in telugu and mahesh was acted in this movie as a hero and it takes much time and almost all it covers long time to see the movies in telugu and one thing i saw the robot it is a fantastic movie and rajni acted as a robot in this movie.
