I don't think I can, lol... Whenever I watch tv I kept flipping channels so without the remote it would probably be a work out for me. Haha... I can't even imagine. Whoever invented it, is just pure genius!

my sibling had an interview and she went to our house to ask this question "if you want to be something around the house what would that be and why?" my wife's answer was tv remote... you cant live without it, you freak out when it gets lost, the mood of watching disappears when the remote is out of sight and even fight for just to have it. i was amazed of her response i was about to answer the fridge but she had a great answer. i myself will freak out when the tv remote is out of sight.

If I didn't have a remote, I probably wouldn't watch TV. I am disabled, so if I had to get up and down to change the channel, it would take forever and just not be worth it.

If I had to I could, since I grew up without one. When I was a child we had to get up and change the channels. This might be another reason for the crisis of obesity in the US. People are just either glued to their couches or computer chairs and they just don't get up to move around like we did in my generation.

As a matter of fact my remote on the old tv is broken,so we have to get up to change channels.I grew up without a remote, and I usually do not channel surf.I know what I want to watch, and I do.It would be harder if I want to watch something on the video recorder, since I enjoy skipping the commercials!I guess I would just watch the whole thing.

Hi, My son gave us LCD TV as a gift. But before it we have old TV whose remote is not working. so we had to go to TV and change the channels. It became very troublesome and irritating for us. So we had many days without remote. But now we are enjoying our new TV and I can say that I can't live a day without remote. I like to watch TV everyday.

I can't live a day without the remote, I switch to a lot of channels and it would be difficult to do that manually. I also like surfing channels when there's nothing on so it helps a lot to have a remote so I can go from distances between numbers.

Of course i can do live. And i am living without TV or TV remote. Now a days i don't watch any TV. I think TV is a great entertainment but doesn't mean that people will die without there entertainment. Now a days there is a different source for entertainment. Have a good time!

These days I do not watch TV often anymore. I watch the news and an occasional documentary and that is it. My TV remote is covered with dust. I don't use it any more except for turning the TV on and off. I do hope to get a remote that can help me to work with my PC though, it would be neat. I know there are some device out there but they are kind of expensive so I am not buying one, at least not yet.

When I had this TV I had no remote control. I had to push the buttons on the TV. It makes you decide which channel you definitely want to watch. When I had to programe more channels I could without a remote control, so I had to purchase one. Now a days I have a digital box for more channels with a remote. Yes it is impressive inventions.

i on my own can actually live without it. as years passed, my dependency on tv and remote has toned down. but since i am living with my kids who will not stop their being hyper kids unless their eyes are glued on to the screen while watching their favorite cartoon show or animated film, i guess i won't be able to live without it now. Life has been a lot easier with the tv remote by my side.

When we watch TV, we always use the remote control, so I think that you are right that we cannot live a day without the TV remote. The TV is designed so, especially the new type of TVs we are using now.

hmm that's not a problem for me, because i usually don't watch TV everyday . but if at all i am watching TV and remote isn't working then its a problem. I go to the electronic shop and get a new remote. As the spare remotes are easily available in the market.
