I was just curious how everyone eats their hard boiled eggs.
I think I'm really weird about mine. I cut them in half and take the yolk out. Then I eat the white part. Then I mash up the yolk, put salt on it and eat that.
Anyone else do weird things with food?

oh, there are many ways to eat hard boiled eggs. some mash the yolk and blend them with mayo and onion and tomatoes salt and pepper and put them back to the white part which are not yet eaten then they eat afterwards. some cut them whole in thin slices and eat them with other veggies and meat.
i eat my hard boiled eggs simply -- sprinkle iodized salt on it, bite, sprinkle salt, bite. (repeat until you reach the yolk and then you sprinkle a little more salt over the yolk, then bite again)

Your way doe not sound weird at all, it is a preference for you. I simply put a bit of pepper, I don't usually put any salt and then I cut into it with my fork and eat a way. I love boiled eggs by the way, something I will chop some onions and sprinkle it on.

cutting the egg in half and adding a little bit of soy sauce to the yolk and eating it all at once. its a bit weird for some but a winner! :D

When I eat a hard boiled egg there are two ways I'll do it. One is I'll eat it as a whole. I like them enough to do that. No salt or anything else added. But If I feel like getting more into it, i'll mash it up and mix it with a tiny bit of butter. It's almost like a scrambled egg and delicious. The new thing in our house is cut the top off a kiwi and dig it out of it's skin with a spin instead of peeling it and eating it.

First I would like to say I boil my eggs a certain way. I set them in a pot of cold water bring them to a roaring boil, cover them take them off the heat and leave them for exactly 12 minutes. I set the timer. Then I take them out and put them in cold water. This way they are always perfectly cooked to my taste with no black or dark ring around the yoke and they have a little soft bubble in the middle of the yolk. I like to cut them open put a little butter, salt and black pepper on them and eat them with toast. I also like egg salad and devilled eggs.

I'll cut the eggs into halves, put a bit of pepper and salt (or soy sauce). Then put the entire half of the egg in my mouth and start munching on it. I did try putting some cheese on top of it before (without the salt and pepper).
cheers.

I just peel the shell off and eat it. I used to put salt on it but I think it is also good just to eat the egg alone. I prefer the egg yolk is not so cooked.

I only eat the yolk when the egg is boiled. The white I feed to my dog. She loves it.

I eat hard boiled eggs in a very simple way. I just take out the shell of 2-3 eggs, sprinkle salt on the egg white, and take a bite. I eat the egg whites first then eat the yolks later. I prefer eating the yolks last for reasons i don't really know. I guess I like seeing 2-3 round egg yolks on my plate/bowl before I eat them.

Hi. neenie. I usually will eat my boiled eggs, by rinsing the cooked egg off. Then I will, place them in a plate and slice them up into slices. I will then put some lite salt and black pepper on it then. After that I will eat it. This is when I am eating my eggs on a salad that is cold. When I am just making an egg salad, I will slice the eggs up and spread mayo all over it, then I will add some mustard and then I will dice onions up on it. Then comes the black pepper. Once all of this is blended together, I will stir it up so that I can eat it.

I don't know about hard boiled eggs but I'm pretty certain on the boiled eggs front! Boiled eggs are what I have every morning for breakfast and I have never wavered from this. I don't like hard boiled eggs as a rule and I love the yoke to be a little soft although not runny! I don't think it's weird what you do though, this is your personal preference and if it works for you then that's great.
Eggs are so good for you and that's why I will always have them every morning. Andrew

When i was a kid i had a efinite system for eating a hardboiled egg. I would cover it in salt, eat the egg white and leave the yolk behind. i basically do the same thing now except i do eat the yolk.

In my case I have two ways of eating them. Cut in slices or cut in 4 parts and then adding salt, and eating all together.
I like the taste of the yolk, but I'm not a big fan of the white, so it's better for me to eat it all together. Otherwise it would be a little difficult to eat the white part. Also, I think it tastes better with salt, so I always add it

I only eat the white part and the yellow part goes to my husband's plate. I am not really fond of it though, I like eating fried one but not the sunny side up one. I seldom eat eggs too even if people are saying that they are good for you at least once a day.

I usually cut the egg like what I do to an apple. Cut it in half then in quarters then cut it again. Then I usually eat it with a sliced tomato with soy sauce. If there is no knife to slice it, I eat it as it is minus the shell of course and I dip it in salt.
