Gomez Peer is a legitimate, paying site. Ir acts for its clients towards improving Internet experience. It accepts and pays international members.
It took me more than four months before my status was changed to Active. In your case the delay could be due to any of the reasons listed below.
1) Country and online time per day. From my observations I came to the conclusion that members from less sought after countries may need to be online longer per day preferably with more than one computer before status change.
2) Number of peers in your area.
3) Your actual system configuration. Lower specs seem to be at an advantage.
4) Your actual Internet connection. Slower connections seem to be favourable.

This here is what I dislike about most online products Not available in your country! *sigh*
My online time is similar to you as well, I guess, I should not bother with this program as well. Thanks for the information.

This sucks!
But I guess its all about need. If there is no demand in your area, it only makes sense that people would not be interested in paying for it.

Yes,it is legit. It took 4 month to get my account activated.I already got paid 64 dollars from this site.If the balance in your account is more than 5 dollars they pay on 15th or 16th of each month. There is no need to request the payment.

Yes it's legit. It took me 6 months to get approved, but since then I have been paid about $75. I make payout approximately every other month. Make sure you have all your information correctly updated, including your paypal address, and sit back and wait.

It is legit, but it does take time to get activated. I waited for 2 months and never got activated, so I just uninstalled it and never put it on any other computer. I don't know why it takes so long to get activated, but it does, and I just don't feel that it is worth even bothering with, as you probably wouldn't make all that much anyway, and leaving something running in the background all the time, to me is just asking for problems. I do wish you luck with it though, and happy mylotting.

I was just searching for gomez peer in the discussion search and came on to this. It's a good thing to know that it requires installing an application, I would not waste my time on it now.
Thanks for this information.

Gomez Peer is legit. I have been paid 4 times.
It does take time to get the active status. It depends on where you are as well as your internet connection type. From your profile, I see that you are also from India.
Let me be honest with you. If you are running at only one computer, you might as well give up; as your earnings will not be that much anyway. However, if you have multiple computers running, it is great.
It took me between 2 to 3 months with 4-5 computers running 24 hours to get the active status.
I am getting $10+ every month from them; which is great considering I don't have to do anything.
I hope that answers your question.

Wow 203 months just to get activated while running the program 24 hours on 4-5 computers? Thats a lot of time and electricity consumed. Since I only use one computer and less than 24 hours a day, I guess I should not bother with it then right?

I am not sure. But I can tell you that in the past I was also a member of Gomez Peer. I had been active for it for some time. However, my account status was still pending. What I felt annoyed is that they didn't say when they could approve my account. It could be a forever time. This is not fair. At least they can require you to be active for a month etc. and then your account will be approved. An unkown time is very discouraging and doubtful. This is why finally I decided to quit it. I don't want to have a spy software in my computer but I can't earn something from it.
