how to install windows 7 64 bit

hi friends i purchased the i3 processor with 4 GB ram and 500 GB hard disk i want to install the windows 7 operating system in 64 but when the install was complete the OS is installed in 32 bit so my ran 3 GB is working 1 GB not recognized so i want to install windows 7 in 64 bit can any one help me how

When you start installing window 7 that means when you just insert you operating disc there they ask you that in which language you want to continue after that they provide you an option of 32 or 64 bit there if you choose 64 bit then you operating disc will install 64 bit window 7 in your system/............

but after selecting the language option the system not showing the os install in 32 bit or 64 bit how?

The DVD you have might be of Windows 7 32 bit. There is a swparate DVD for the 64 bit version. You need to purchase that to install 64 bit. Once you have the DVD, normal installation process :)
Just check on the cover whether its 32 or 64 bit...
