praty77 The DVD you have might be of Windows 7 32 bit. There is a swparate DVD for the 64 bit version. You need to purchase that to install 64 bit. Once you have the DVD, normal installation process :) Just check on the cover whether its 32 or 64 bit...

praty77 Yeah, true.. It is her mistake.. You being a friend should talk to her and make her understand your point of view. Just tell her what you feel in your own words, without making up anything. Lets hope she understands before its too late..

praty77 In either case it'll work... If you go for higher frequency (the fig. in MHz) RAM, your laptop will have higher memory (total of both) but will run on the lower-of-the-two frequency... If you wanna run it on higher frequency (more than 800 in your case) then...
