I think it's the way Earth says thanks to so called "pests".
If people cared more (talking about oil companies that just simply don't allow Biofuel or elecricity to take over so easily because they care only about their pockets) then there would be less disasters on the world. The earthquake in Japan was caused by Earth itself, but so many earthquakes and tsunamis were caused by military forces that simply tested their "toys" out. Maybe it had some affect even on this last Earthquake in Japan and Mexico, but no one will ever know...

I think yes we are near but not so close to end of world because in my religious which is Islam we knew that there are small sign and big sin..earthquake is one of small signs ..So i think we still have little time but through that we will face alot of disasters .

Yes I wonder myself if this means the end of times. It definitely seems like it. However I must admit there are different takes on it, some people say that the Mayan Calendar simply ended because the Mayans did not believe we would still be living. It may be that they even threw in a few extra years. Also Nostradamus and his predictions are scary, and well just everything that is happening now. I've heard people say that a scientist had predicted the Japan earthquake and Tsunami.
In the bible perspective it seems like it could be but there is a scripture that I've read that has made me believe maybe not. I am really not sure.
I do know it seems we are destroying ourselves anyhow, with all the wars and even without the wars just the pollution that we have efected on ourselves.
It does scare me and really makes me think before I say a bad word to anyone as I may regret it later! It also makes me think of all the bad things I've said and done in the past.
