No, I've never lied about my age. I'm going to be 23 soon, and for the longest time I've been told that I look younger than my age. People are sometimes surprised, but I've never lied about how old I am.

Well I have never directly lied about my age. I say directly, because there are many times where if a person gets a different assumption about my age, there are times where I really do not feel that I need to correct them. If they wish to believe that, fine, it will not really dramatically effect my life. I have also gone out of my way to not to mention my age sometimes, until I know about how the person will be react. Unless prompted of course Still I have never directly lied if the question comes up. Perhaps abetted in someone else making a false assumption. However, never directly lied. Then again, to my recollection, my age is not something that comes up all that often, which is good. Age does have a funny thing about how a person should be looked at by society's limited standards. Never mind the fact that age is just a number on paper and is really no reflection of how a person acts.

Good if some people knows that age is a number...sometimes when I have to present doc that shows my age in school matter sometimes its like ohhh..some nearly said your too old! Should age affect education??

Nope i don't think guys lie about their ages. It's mostly girls only according to me who lie about their age. I don't mind what people think of me. If they don't like that's their problem right? Seeing your discussion about age i am reminded of a conversation of two women on a bus who were arguing about having a seat. The conductor came and promptly said that the seat is reserved for older women and anyone who is older than the other can site and the two women stood throughout the journey!!! Cheers!

Thats funny...but it almost happened to me too...when a guy looking old was about to enter and the person by the door just got crazy saying let older person enter first, I looked at him and I told him calmly 'am older than him anyway' after I allowed him in and the man was like no its a lie...then someone who knew us corrected him and he looked so stupid the rest of the day..lol

If I know that they will find out the truth one day, I won't lie. On the other hand, If I know that they WON'T find out, then I will. Lying about your age is sometime necessary to take the opputunity being offer but is out of your age. This happens in a lot of online games so I will just lie about it. I'm also sicks of people who said "Oh, so you're younger huh" or "Wow, you're still playing this when you're this old? Why don't you go read a book or something like other people around your age" and these cause me to lie to avoid annoying comments.

Hello, I haven't tried to lie about my age, and if they will ask if am I old, I will just answer them with a no, but I will not tell them what is my age because they didn't ask me that question. I know that I'm getting older, but I'm still young at heart.

Been young at hear is cool...but have you actually tried passionately to let someone know that you are older than what they taught?...like having to produce your ID card or Passport even..?

Is it considered lying if you don't correct someone for assuming wrongly? Anyway, I have never lied about my age; but some people assumed wrong. NO, they did not think I was younger, they thought I was about 30 when I was only 23 years old. I never corrected them. I guess I look much older than my real age those days. These days, some people now think I am younger than I actually am. I don't really mind. If they ask me, I would tell them the truth. If they just assume, I see no point in correcting them.

I have not lied about my age maybe because I am blessed to have a younger face than my age. Being a petite type of girl gives people a lil kid impression to my body and looks.haha..oh well I am still a kid inside, maybe that makes me more younger than my age because I don't grow up. In this entire life I haven't lie yet but I don't know about the future, I might lie..lol

Thats cool...but sometimes have ever felt pressed to say you are older than what people think you are...for example if people find it hard to believe that you are 35 while you look 26....so you simply tell them (or him/her) that you are just 28...has it happen?

I am fun of meeting new friends usually I did it by chat. When I ask my chatmates how old they are and they replied e.g 35 I lied with my age and say that am 27-28 years old knowing that am just 20,cause I think its better to take if you have only few age gap.lol its sounds crazy but I do that.

Personally, I don't want to talk about my age or other people age. It seemed that unethical way to ask or to know it. It depends on the situation and also, depends on the topic of the moment. Felt uneasy to ask and to be asked.

I never lie about my age. And I look older than my age others say. Maybe its because I don't take extra effort to fix myself. I mean, I like the way I look and I'm satisfied with it. I don't like wearing make ups, I'm fine with my hair and everything. To make it short, I like the way I am

That good as long as you like the way you look and the way you are...but if need be you can be more pleasant in look to yourself by taking the extra effort..lol. Thanks
