Hi all,
Someone on out MyLot family is is need of Prayers and Some Words of encouragement to continue her fight and battle against cancer. I did not know much about her, and we did interact on just one or two discussions. But about 2 days back when I was sent the Link by someone I felt the need to send her my prayers, wishes and some words. Maybe you might be interested too.
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2515974.aspx
(It is a MyLot Link, Not a referral one. Please use the above to know more of her illness and battle)
I know, many in the family here are atheists and some even believe prayers cannot help... Well, I respect all your views but I think we all can chip in some wishes, some prayers and may be even words of encouragement to her and hope that they reach her and give her the strength and courage to fight out and win.
ps. Not sure if this discussion would stay. Though I dont see anything against our guidelines, but even if it was against, I dont see a reason not to wish someone at the time of need.

Hi thesids ,
I will certainly pray for her and her family. I have read her previous discussion, but didn't come across that particular one. I was praying for her before, for it to be a nothing serious and even if it is cancer, for it to be a benign one.
I don't think any of us can really understand what she is going through.
Thank you for providing this link.

Hi zralte
I am blessed to have some friends who know about her. As I mentioned, I and she met on just a few discussions and then someone PMed me this link two days before. I was shocked to read it. And I am glad that I have found some friends who stand by me in my prayers for her recovery.
I quite agree that none of us will be able to understand the pain or agony she would be going through, and I also know that our prayers for her will be listened with heart and hope she will return back hale and hearty.
Thanks for being there

My dear brother
I have visited the link provided by you and read it. I really don’t know how to react. I can understand her feelings. Hope she will hold the strength and courage to fight against the fate. Yes, if someone has the courage in mind (will power is very important) then definitely can defeat the fate. However, it is difficult to gather the courage when shocking news reached us. Let us pray to GOD to give her the strength.

Hi didi
I was the same after I read her post - confused and shocked. I read a couple of her recent discussions and found that she is quite a fighter still, as she was when I had interacted on her discussions so many months back. Though the pain reflects but I see she is quite hopeful and positive.
But yes, I can understand it is difficult to gather courage when such shocking news reaches us... I hope she will read this discussion someday and it gives her some more courage to help her in her fight...
Thanks for being here and joining us - I have faith that the prayers collected here (and maybe other discussions started for her) will not go unlistened to

Hi thesids
My dear friend I can't thank you enough for what you have done. Writer and I friend here on myLot no so long ago, but from day one, I felt she was a very kind and strong lady. She and I have interacted numerous times before and I have grown very fond of her.
She has a tough road ahead of her, and I have been praying faithfully from the day she mentioned her illness and I am a firm believer with the power of prayer.
I will continue to pray for our friend thesids, so she can continue to gain strength and hope. Thank you my friend for starting this discussion.
Congrats to you as I see it is your 100th!

Hi GF
Yes, she has some tough roads to travel. But I am hopeful that the removal of the bladder will get some relief and also keep that cancer away. I have been visiting some websites on this and know that there are quite lesser chances but still, I would think and stay positive...
I wished I could reach her in some way so that I could share some info (I am no doctor but still) it might have helped her gain the confidence and hope that she will be fine because I felt she is quite depressed and it seems she is losing out on hopes - the most important factor to fight and get cured.
Thank you for giving me a chance to join you in your prayers for her (and this one)

Ahh my dear friend
Three weeks and she is a total different person. Do you remember the initial discussions on how a sense of scare and negativity were in every other sentence. For a week or so she seems to be very hopeful and very positive.
You see my friend the Power of Prayer never lets me down. I although at times do get negative, then I begin to pray and it is like I am a whole new person.
So thank you my friend for all have done as I see she and you get along so well and I am very grateful for all your research and information to her.
Thank you for my BR!

Well, as you are new around, I must share this - MyLot is really impressing and yes, though it takes a while to get accustomed to almost everything it has to offer, but once you cross that initial hurdles, I am sure you would find yourslef at the best place on Internet.
I must say thanks for your gesture of going to her discussion and posting your wishes for her there. And also for joing us in our set of prayers for her here.
See you around

Hi Sids,
I had no idea that Writersedge was going through this. I have seen too many miracles in my life not to believe in the power of prayer. I will certainly join in and offer up prayers and encouragement for Winter. I had completely missed that discussion. Thank you so much for bringing it to our attention. This is a really nice thing you are doing, Sids. I don't think it breaks guidelines. Have a great day!

Dear Ms. Bingskee
Yes, I feel the same too - she is a fighter and one tough woman. As I mentioned, we shared just two discussions much earlier and I remember those. I think, she will recover and return back in a few months - after the operation and removal of the infected bladder.
Thank you for joining us in our prayers...

I am an atheist as you have mentioned that atheist are here and i have no belief on prayer. okay, if there is a god then why she has to suffer from cancer?
In stead of praying.. let us extend our helping hand and support her in this mournful moment. I know its hard to do because we are far long away from her but we can send this message to her relatives and friends.
have a nice day.

Hi mamu
Thanks for joining us here.
We cannot do anything even if we are by her side. I know, no one can actually feel her pain and agony - whatshe is going through - but yes, we all can say some words that will induce Hope and a feeling to overcome her pain.

Good people are blessed by more then their Gods but by the blessings they share with others. You will be blessed in this life.

Hi thesids,
I will pray for her. I believe that the more people that pray, the more powerful is the energy and wishes for her and she will be recover soon. I have learn before Qi Gong where you will learn to gather energy from the nature for healing purpose and the more people who do it together, the stronger the energy will be. So, I believe if the more people pray for her, the sooner she will recover.

You are a man of heart,I side with you.Cancer is a bloodcurdling word .I could well imagine how desperate the girl who suffers from cancer is now.I don't know what the "not sure if this discussion would stay"means, butI know "wish someone at the time of need" is a philanthropic act.
