Are you happy and contented?

Happy a very simple word but a have a very deeply meaning to us. As we getting older and looking back all our achievements, ups and downs, sacrifices we done through, a simple question came up into my mind. Are we happy for what we are now? Do we already saw and feel the true meaning of happiness? Are we entitled to be happy even though someone will hurt? Do you have guts to fight for your own happiness?

right now i am happy and contented with what i have.
i earn more than i expected,i have a loving family,smart kids,good health..what else can i ask for...i dont have to become a millionaire to be happy.all i want is contentment and thats what i have right now.people nowadays think that being rich can make them happy.but i say it wont make them happy because when you are already rich you will become more greedy and wanted to make more than you have and forget the real meaning of happiness which is contentment.

Happiness comes from within ones self. Every person is different as to what really makes them happy in life. I am content right now but not really what I would like to call happy. I am still searching for my happiness.

You are right my friend. If we talk about happiness and contentment it will mean different and several things. Maybe we can relate it to our family, jobs and lifestyles.
For me, I am happy with my family. Although, I am a black sheep but I change already and walk in a right way.
With regards to my job recently, frankly speaking I am not happy on my job because I am not free. Meaning, it's like I am on jail because I cannot make things that I want to do. I am waiting another year to finish my contract and find another job that can make me feel happy and contented.
About my lifestyles lately, I really really like because what I want to buy maybe I can have it because I have a decent job.

I can say that I am happy despite of all the hardships in life. I guess that's the essence of happiness. Being happy eventhough there's a lot of reasons not to. With God you can be happy and you feel contended all the time..
