Cosmetics are amazing!

i think makeup should enhance what we already have. it is good to wear it without showing it. celebrities usually have to wear lots of makeup for their image. i think we should be ourselves. we are all unique. we should be as attractive as we can, but work more on our characters.

Same here my friend, that I like to enhance with make-up but feel that naturally I can be without and still feel and look glamorous. When I read your discussion in my email I immediately thought of Oprah. I won't say she is way too ugly without it but the pictures show a huge difference.

Yes cosmetics are amazing. Not only cosmetics now a days digital camera have great effect to face. And editing system make ugly beauty. So many star are not so beautiful without make up but with the make up they look awesome. So the star must say thanks to the cosmetics and they use much money on it. Have a good time!

awwww i like her very much and i really admire her because she is not shy to show her flaws to everyone. she would take her make up off on her show and even show her pictures and compare her body before and after the airbrushing, editing and all that. yeah, she said we shouldn't really get jealous and wish we also looked like supermodels because they look very sexy, beautiful and have flawless skin, because they are already edited in pictures. i admit i really love watching make up tutorials for future use like if ever there is a party i am going to. and i am also amaze how one can transform because of make up. i love make up but i am already good with just powder and lipstick.

Halu mermaidivy, my day is not complete without mascara in my eyelashes,and a line of pencil in my eyebrow(LOL)yes honestly speaking that is one of my weakness hehe,.i feel that i was so cute with that style hehe,but when im not putting on mascara and line in my eyebrow,i look so young like 16 yrs of age only,my sister says she loves me in my natural beauty,she said i was prettier without mascara,but i depend myself saying don't worry,it is just mascara a simple cosmetics,becoz when i put it in my eyelashes my eyes look so sexy and beautiful,becoz i have brown bright eyes.so without cosmetics im still pretty (LOL) thanks GOD BLESS

It seems modeling has less to do with natural beauty than the shameless attitude they convey. Walking like they have a string pulling up their chin and bouncing their legs like every step is significant. Still, it's sort of like basketball- height determines the likelihood of becoming a model. That's not much to say for talent because anyone who's born tall can starve themselves and put on a bunch of make up. I wouldn't say there's no skill involved because I saw enough Top Model to know that they agonize over making it in their career.. but I wonder how much is just luck. Doesn't their nose shape, neck, cheekbones, etc., help determine whether a person looks good at every single angle? Maybe the one skill involved is looking at the mirror for extensive periods of time..

You are right. People with good makeup can become to another person who you can't tell who he/she is:) This is why the celebrities hardly go out without makeup. We always think that they are very beautiful in front of the camera. But actually it is not the same in the reality. I must say that I haven't seen Tyra Banks without makeup. I like to watch America's Next Top Model and she looks pretty in this show. I can't imagine how she looks like in the reality. I love China

Hi. mermaidivy. I agree. Whenever any woman wears make up a lot, she looks differently with it off. I am like you too, mermaidivy. I am glad that I don't wear extreme make up. Even if I did, I can still look good without it. When I was in a modeling class, they applied make up to my face, my face looked so good then. But the make up color did not look so hot on me at all. It was too browner than my skin's complexion. I don't wear make up or blush at all. I am more of a natural kind of woman. I do best without wearing make up. I am so glad that I don't need make up to make me look beautiful at all.

Hi Ivy! Cosmetics are truly amazing! As for my picture here, i used makeup on my nose to make it look taller! Weeeeeeeeeh! I dont wear makeup often though, i only wear it during meetings for confidence boost.

As one who used to work for a company that manufactured make ups, I agree with you that some of these products do transform some ordinary-looking people into glamorous celebrities after a few chemicals on their faces. And I do agree that Tyra looks scary! It's like the face we see on TV is more than 50% cosmetics.

I can't usually make up because my skin is very sensitive. Tyra is very sharp when she have make up. Thank for your sharing Type without make up's photo. It like two people when she without make up.

Make up is an essential part of presenting ones most artistic and esthetic appearance. Film, television, stage, modeling all use make up to project an image for the observer, proximate or distant, that produces a desired result. Make up is amazing.

That's why I hate makeup! It could makes you look amazing, like if you're perfect, but when you're off makeup... oops, what happened? that's you girl? O_O Personally, I hate makeup more than anything and I'm obssesed with skin care. If I could I would be able to spend a whole month of money in skincare (but I can't unfortunately). I want to go through life without any makeup at all, being natural but still beautiful. Makeup I hate you, you suck. :) I guess I'm the only woman who hates makeup LOL

So true! Celebs must thank the cosmetics as well as their wonderful make up artists. I think its the skill of those make up artists plus the brand name of the cosmetics used on the faces of celebs that does the magic!

I love make up! It has saved my face many time LOL! It is a miraculous thing isn’t it? Some women wear so much and can look quite different without it. I like to wear it as long as it looks natural. It does help to have good foundation to work with such as nice healthy skin. Sounds corny but what is on the inside is what is going to eventually show on the outside make up or not.

Right. Making up make us to look better. But we shouldn't use it too much. I think that natural is the best. We should keep our skin strong by water and naturally cosmetics.
