Creation of facebook on the internet is such a miracle social networking site wherein most our interest and needed applications for social networking are bundled. Like for example, we have a lot of games from the facebook wherein , we can play the game online together with our friends and sometimes make new friends on facebook. We have also a live chatting with your friends and family which intend to make our links closer and easy to communicate with our business and personal transactions. Through facebook we can easy browse our old friends from elementary, high school, and colleges and invite them as a friend from your facebook. and lastly you can share you're own thoughts, updated activities you've done, your latest photos with your friends in just a click from the facebook. therefore, I can say facebook is really a great help bind us all in just a click from the internet and what should you do if facebook will be shutdown one day? Go back to friendster? or just be contented with yahoomails and gmails?

I do not quite agree with you. I can still very well live without Facebook. I consider it a recreation but not a necessity in life. It can close down anytime and I would still be able to get in touch with the ones I truly care about.

Like you, I do not really need facebook in my life. I'd still rather hang out with my friends than log on to facebook. Actually, I get bored with facebook easily. After a few minutes of browsing, I can't find anything else to do with it. :) I do agree though that facebook is a great social networking site.

I was watching the movie 'the social network' yesterday and i found out the story behind the creation of facebook and also that the current value of facebook is around 25bil. So obviously that huge valuation didnt happen w/o enough support from our population. idk about anyone else but i can live w/o facebook its not a daily for me atleast not when im busy working or studying but yah when bored it can be a easy thing for time pass.

Well i would agree with you on this. Many people would be completely helpless without facebook now since it's been there almost every nook and corner of the world!
It does more than connection and friends. It's the link between us and the outside world if you ask me. We can find almost anyone and everyone through it and i would like to thank Mark Zuckerburg for that!
Cheers!

I am sorry that I disagree with you. I live without it. Do you know how much data is mined from that and other similar sites? There are news articles all the time about people getting busted for stuff they put on Facebook. I personally do not have anything to hide but I do not have a need to alert the world to my favor color or what music I like. Besides, I prefer personal contact.

Facebook after long time i find it boring and such, the game waiting per hous is boring also nothing much can do there.Better watch tv or play some android games better or update or reading online news or play with mylot to earn some money. However Facebook is good gossip and spying tool to see what other people are doing since Facebook members are so good in sharing private matters online.

I use facebook everyday, either to waste up my time or using it as a chatting agent. Facebook is a place where I have a lot of fun everyday, and sometimes when I'm bored, I can just viewed photos which are 1 year ago, and it could entertain me. Shutting down facebook is going to make me losing 1 activity to do, I can't even feel calm if I don't online facebook for 1 day. If it is shut down, then I think I am going to find a new social network which is almost the same (the problem is I can't find any right now)

I agree with you 110% without opening my Facebook page my day never begins in real manner. I have more than 300 friends on it and its increasing every day. I also use Facebook to share my article's with friends which I wrote mostly on daily basis and get a good number of traffic from FB. My Friends mostly share funny and amazing videos on it which some times give boost or energy to stay active. :D

Hi there Amakakusa!
You're right. Sometimes, it seems like we can't leave without facebook anymore. Of course, if we really need to survive without it, we still can, but we won't be able to save time, money and effort like we do now. To communicate with our friends and relatives from other countries, we will need to call them instead or use other instant messengers but it won't be like when we can share information, update, photos and even play games with them like we do in Facebook. Facebook has a lot of advantages unless one gets really hooked to it and forgets living in the real world. If Facebook gets shut down someday, I might just settle with instant messenger and e-mails or just create a personal website or a blog. I can still tweet, though.
