Well, the morphine has worn off and the sleeping pills have not worked tonight, just another half an hour until i can have more morphine, then try to sleep again.Right now i do not know where hurts most, my toes, my back or the bottoms of my feet. There are a few people that i do not like, but i would not even wish this pain on a worst enemy.Back to sqare one again, if not worse with the pain.

Sometimes distraction is about all you can do for things.

I think that it has got to the stage that there are no other things that i can try, that i have not already tried, however i think that things would be a lot worse if i was not on the treatment that i am on.I think that by being on here it seems to take my mind off it a bit.

I have that, but its in complete remission. Get to your doctor as soon as you can, and try using some shea oil. Sometimes that helps.

Injections don't always do the trick. Sometimes you have to use body lotions, oils, creams and you name it. If you have Asthma and Allergies, then I have also found that anabolic steroids do the trick as well. Usually, Eczema, Dermatitis, and most all skin conditions relate to Asthma and Allergies.
Consider all of your options.

I hate to hear this and I know it is a hard thing to deal with. This is something several people in my family have had to deal with for a long time. I feel for you. I hope it heals soon for you.
May I suggest that you use hydrocotozone creme on your feet. You can get it at the dollar store for a dollar a tube. Use gobs of it on you feet. Then put socks on your feet. Don't go bare foot. That makes it worse. I know it is hard to do in this heat. But having dirt to ground in those little cuts and holes in your feet is not a good thing either. It makes things much worse for you.
There is actually a creme a skin doctor will give you if you are seeing one but make sure he gives you the big tube of it not the tiny one it just won't go far enough. I don't know the name of it but they do. It does work really well.
Good luck to you. I hope this heals soon.

I have tried everything, but nothing seems to be working, even the injections do not seem to be doing anything at all.The creams that the hospital have given me do not seem to be making it any better. In the past i have tried wet wrap, but with poor circulation, they can not use it.Things can only get better i keep telling myself, as it can not get any worse.

Tried a bunch of hydrocordozone creme and cover it and just keep it on. They may dry it up. Or whatever it is suppose to do.

I sympathize with your plight. i can rememeber my late grandmother suffering from psoriasis as well. it looked so red and itchy and to say the least uncomfortable. Relieving this ailment is not something you can just just take a simple pill for. It attacks the nervous system of the body in more ways than one.

Oh yikes and I do that now after two days there is some relief and if not do phone your doctor to see if there is something else that can help alleviate the pain and discomfort.

Good gosh jugsjugs! Isn't there something the doctor can do for you? There has to be something! With this day in age, there has to be something the doctor can give you to help! Bless your heart dear one! Seriously! You really need to get back with your doctor and demand he do something for you.

I am really sorry for you, i have an insignicant corn(well 3 really)on my little toe and i get the raving hump because it is so painful, but that withers into insignificance compare to your pain. I don't know too much about your condition, but would soaking your feet in luke warm solution of perhaps mild baby soap help? Whhen i was in hospital they gave me morphine, but i reacted badly and was very very sick, so couldnt have it. But once again, my pain wasnt as bad as yours. hugs from me, hope you feel better soon xx

hijugsjugs oh my dear no wonder I have not seen you here lately and i
am so sorry for your pain.that darnedpsoriasis is horrible. I think that was what I had on my leg and after a whole year and finally getting to a wound specialist who put me in compression hose and a fungus oinment I have now got it down to the size of a quarter. but I know what i had is not nearly as bad as what you have.i wish there was a different sp ecialist who could find a real cure for your poor legs and feet . I imagine you have sought treatment from other doctors too? well I am glad the morphine works at least.i am still having pain from my twisted knee but down to two vicodin and tonight I just refused to go down and staqn in line with my knee killing me then walk back up here and take he deamned pill.either they can bring it u p to me or I will just go without as standing when it hurts just makes it worse. I had a warm shower and am now mylotting.I wish I could suggest something that wo uld help you truly I do.

I tried a warm bath for the itching, the pain is just unbareable now.I have taken more morphine in the hope that it will ease the pain abit, so that i can get off to sleep.Morphine is suposed to help with psoratic arthritis, as well as raynauds and buergers disease. The injections have stopped working for my skin, so i do not think there is anything else they can give me now to help as there are no stronger injections.Sooner they find a cure for these things the better if you ask me.Hope you are feeling better soon Hatley.I did pop on here the other night to put a few pictures up, but was not well to stay on for long. You are right i came on here as i needed to keep my mind busy, trying to take the pain away, shame the pain is still there.x

I am so sorry you are in pain. At least you can pass sometime on here. Time seems to go so slow when you are waiting for it to be time to take another pill. I hope it works this time.

YOur condition has worsen. IT's about time to see a doctor and be rid of all those pain. Have u considered surgery or whatever instead of relying on medicine and painkillers? IT's not good for your health in the long run. Right now, even morphine isn't helping u much so the best solution is get warded. LEt the doctors and nurses take care of u.

Oh i am sorry that you are in a lot of pain.
My father when she reached the age of 60 had psoriasis. It was all over his body. Now, the black spots remained but his psoriasis is gone.
But i never saw him in pain though. So i was wondering why is it with you?

For itching, one of the best things in the world is a warm tub of water with oats in it. Yes, cooking oats! I used that on my children when they had chicken pox and it helped! I know that it is a strange thing to do but it works.
Is it just the psoriasis causing all of the problems? If so, can't the doctor find something to help to aid with it. I have never heard of being on morphine due to it.

Oh gosh, jugsjugs - sorry to hear you are in pain! My hubby has psoriasis - has a break out on his arms and legs - probably due to our dry weather plus he is majorly stressed out at his demanding job. You know, I was reading that TUNA was an excellent food choice for those with psoriasis . . . something about the oils in it that are good for your skin - particularly for those with psoriasis. I feel for you!!

Wow I never knew psoriasis hurts that much.Someone so dear to me who is now working abroad has it and I talk to her over at yahoo. She tells me of her discomforts but not the way you have described it here. I know that most probably she trying to have a brave front for me although sometimes she would tell me how much it hurts .She is not taking morphine and she is just using some lotion prescribed by her doctor.
Im sorry you are hurting that much. I guess all i can do is to pray that you have more tolerance for pain.
