Hey friends,
I returned to myLot after 3 long years just to find out some extra earnings once again. My account balance has got $0 once again. Didnt knew it gets reset automatically due to inactivity. I had earned some $9 when i stopped using it last.
Huh, now its gonna be a pain again to get back to that amount. But what brought me here is not money, but the old friends which i made here during my short stay. The discussions which i took part in. It was all fun.
Hope to get that same again.
Is there anyone here who can just brush up me with how mylot works so i can use it to my max.

Earnings reset if a member is inactive for 90 days. It's all explained in the FAQs and also in the Terms that we agreed when we joined.
I haven’t posted anything on myLot for several months. I logged into my account today and my earnings are missing what happened to them?
Our terms of use state that if you don’t login to your account at least once over a 90 day/3 month consecutive period of time your earnings are forfeited. Please remember to login at least once every 90 days. You don’t need to post any new discussions or respond to discussions, you just need to login to your account so that we know your account has not gone idle.

As for how mylot works, it would be best if you read the guidelines and FAQs.

Happy Lotting and welcome back.

You are always ready with links. Thats so nice of you. You explain them and then give the links to refer is somewhat great way to make someone understand. Thanks again for your help. This means that the lower is the number on left of the name, the better it is...like mine is 77/100 so its nice. Is'int it?

Certainly. It is our Discussion Ratings. When a member reaches User Rating of 100, he/she get a star with a number inside it, for Discussion Rating. (Your user rating is the number next to your name).
The Discussion Rating depends on how other members rated your posts or discussions. For more information, see
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq17.aspx
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx
The Discussion Rating system is factored in calculating the earnings, therefore, very important not to abuse the system.

Welcome back!
It has been a long time since you have been here. I hope you enjoy it once again. I believe the pay may be less than when you were here before but there are lots more ways to earn. For example; blogging, web search, and tasks.

Hi there vikran! Welcome back after that long hiatus.....I'm sure this will be a return that you will not regret, because there will be countless members that will help make you feel welcome back here! I myself had had a dry spell about a year or two ago when I spent almost 6 months away from myLot due to other commitments, but I am back here again too.
Anyway, using myLot is very simple; just participate as much as you can on the site and you won't go wrong. Start discussions (just like what you have done when you started this discussion) and respond to discussions started by other members are the two top ways to earn and participate here. Of course, there are other ways of earning on myLot too such as using the myLot search engine and trying to complete tasks, but you'll learn about these as you go along.
Well, the $10 payout can look a bit daunting to reach in a short period of time, but if you devote enough time to myLot each day it won't be too hard. In the meantime, happy myLotting and I hope you find your stay this time more enjoyable and fulfilling than before!

It was such a warm welcome my friend. Thank you. Yes commitments are my reason too to stay away from mylot. I hope this time i cross $10 mark as last time i stuck on $9 :)

You're most welcome! The $10 mark won't be too difficult to reach if you set your sights on it.....quoting the statement on the myLot earning page, "Keep participating, and you'll reach the payout before you know it!"

Welcome back Vikrant.
Probably we both have started mylotting at the same period. Though I was not dedicatedly active, I used to visit and make few posts regularly.
Mylot, besides earnings, is a great place to share our thoughts. (I've made just around 25$ in the 3 years.) I would say, mylot is a great place to learn too.

well $25 in 3 yrs is less :) but as you said, you were semi active. I had some personal commitments and at my job, few websites were blocked by admin, so i was not able to login.
Now as i am back, i am sure i will learn a lot and make lots of friends once again.

Hi Vikrant, Welcome back to Mylot!
Three years is such a long time but its great that you decided to come back. I hope you know all the basics of MyLot! Just to refresh your memory, you can go through this link: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx to start with.
I can understand that your reason for coming back to MyLot is not money (which is great) but you can earn a few cents using MyLot search engine. Use it as your regular search engine and MyLot will reward you for that. I just got 19cents this morning for very few searches (which is great!). And yes, MyLot is so much fun besides earning few bucks!
I hope you enjoy your stay here in Mylot! Looking forward to your discussions!
God Bless!

God bless you too.
Yes i heard that mylot search engine gets you some bucks. Thats certainly something encouraging.
As everyone knows this is not a core money making site, but whats wrong if one earns some cents and gradually dollors just for being friendly and socializing oneself.
Happy mylotting.

Welcome back fellow lotter wow three years is long time, well now that your back make sure you post, post, post. respond and respond agin, also it helps to upload some pics once and a while just make sure that there public domian pics, or your own personal pics the ones that you feel compfortble showing.
Also make sure the pictures are relavent to the topics not just some radom pictures or mylot might delete them. you just have to be as active as posible, and no referral links on post or they will delete it, and you might lose some bucks. hope this info was able to refresh your memory
Well have fun its good to read that a reguler has returned happy posting.

Yea indeed it refreshed my memory. I am so happy to see the same warmth in fellow mylot buddies. All are still so friendly. This is somewhat like FB. Rather better than that.

Three years is a long time to leave then decide to come back. I life mylot for about 5 months then decided to come back. Like everybody else, for the chance to earn a few buck every now and again. As we all know, mylot makes sure you work for your money. So this would definitely not be the site you could earn big from. So I take the earnings as an "earn when I can site" earning plus the learning is what brought me back. Anyway Welcome back!

very true, this is not a money making website, rather earning is complimentary here. You surf, review, comment and for that u get some bucks. Well i know 3 years is long. In meanwhile i forgot about something called as mylot, but recently when i saw the site again in search engines, i refreshed my login details and now i am mylotting again.
