Reading is always a good thing for it will increase our knowledge and help us to enjoy life more.I think too much reading will make feel tired but won't read at all will make us know nothing about the world and life.I used to read many books , but since I keep on using my computer everyday, I am doing my reading with it all the times now. I seldom carry a book and read it in the transportation lately because my eyes are alwyas busy with my computer and I prefer to take abraek during my transportation time. I enjoy reading anything about life but not anything with numbers in it.What about you? Sharte with us?

Hey, I am a Christian too and what kinds of christian books do you love to read? I used to read a lot but not anymore since I really don't have any mood to read any books at this moment. However, I hope that my reading mood will some back later on . Then I CAN START TO READ BOOKS ON DIFFERENT SUBJECTS AS WELL.I like to read books with different kinds of interest.I don't like to limit myself in just one or to more categories since it will be so limited in our world view, and today's world is a fast changing world and we really need to spend time in watching the news before we can really books. Anyway, happy mylot.

I have not much patience in reading books unless it is really very, very interesting and exciting. But there is one book that I don't get tired up. It is the only book I read in the morning even while it is yet dark. It is the Holy Bible.

Hey, it is good to know that you love to read the bible and I ma one of the Bible fans as well. I used to read many books but not now anymore because I am busy to looking for a job and Actually I have been busy with that in the last two years. I can only read some book over the internet now since i REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY MOOD TO READ ANY BOOKS AT THE MOMENT. I hope that I can spend more times in studying the bible in the future when my tough job seeking period will come to an end.It is just no fun for being jobless for that long and I feel so frustrated for being in a situation like that for a long time. I hope someone can really pray for me when they can remember me but it is hard to find someone who really knows how to pray for me and who will really love to pray for me anyway.HAPPY MYLOT.

I read every single day and I can read 6-8 books a month. My favorite authors are James Patterson, Clive Cussler, Michael Connelly, John Sandford, Stephen King to name a few. I also read Nora Roberts and an occasional Danielle Steel if the mood strikes. But mostly, I love reading mystery, cop stories, thrillers, but...nothing too scary. I spend time on the computer as well, but there is nothing like getting comfy on a coach or in bed and losing yourself in a good book.

Oh, we have a professor in here. Thank you for your reply to my post.I think novel is great and I hope that I can learn to read knowledge like that. I am not good at noval since I think that I really need to improve my English more . Anyway, I think it is good to have abetter language skills before I can write some novel like you.I wrote a poem before but even myself thought that it was really good. That;s why I think it is better to write in mylot because they don't require a very good English standard like Pay per post or Artice something .com.Although I enjoy the freedom in here , I still wnat to improve my English and be a better writer someday in the future.

Well, that's nothing wrong with reading children books and sometimes I would like to do so. I think children books alwyas remind us of our childhood and we don't just enjoy our memory but also think about the future generations well.If you are writing a good children book with proper Ethical value in it , it is a good thing. books in todays world are full of deception and many things are not truth. Since I am a christian, I would like to see more books written according to the Bilical standard. Well, I hope you enjoy reading your books all the time anyway.

I LOVE to read. So I can't go anywhere without something to read. I will always choose reading over technology. As soon as I finish reading one book, I start another. my favorite book is Hold Still by Nina LaCour. Right now I'm reading Little Women. I'm trying to read more classic books instead of Teen Fiction like i usually read lol. :P

Hi wildlittlefan, reading my favorite book is a habit that sticks to me until now, since I was in my junior primary. Of course I don't read the children's stories as well as fairly tales anymore I read more books before having pc and internet connection. Nowadays I still do reading daily but most of the time reading online. There is a book beside my bed. This for the convenience for me to read a few pages before I fall asleep. Reading lying on my bed during bedtime is my habit even when I go for vacation
Happy posting and have a nice day

For a long time, I have not read any books. When I was in school, I read a lot. When I start working, somehow I seem to have lost interest in reading books, even for books which I used to read. Perhaps it is the result of reading too many technical manuals.

I tend to read books that other people avoid! The one I am reading now is called Darkness, the Power of Illumination. It's a spiritually based book that is very Zen like, beacuse I am a Zen practitioner I guess. But Zen isn't for everyone. It can be hard and frustrating at times, but it is through that very struggle that we grow and develop on a spiritual level. I don't tend to read paper books any more either. I read a lot of the screen as it saves space and paper. _Derek

I'm always reading. I usually read 3 or 4 hours a day in addition to computer time. Right now I'm reading Moby Dlck. It's great. It's not a kids book. I have been plugging away at it for 3 or 4 days now. I usually read a book in 1 or two days, depending on the book and how much time I have.

If I have any non fiction books i want to read, I usually do it during the daytime. Usually I read every night before bed, but at night i will read a novel of some kind, about half the time i read science fiction.

I eat books -- No, not in the "my-stomache-is-rumbling-and-books-are-good-fiber" way. I love to read, and always have. When I was a small child, I remembered asking my dad: "Why you got so many book an' book an' book?"
My education taught me how to read (and how to read well), and my father taught me to love it. I have so many books now, that when I moved, I didn't have anywhere to put them in my new house.
I am selling some of my rare books online now, but I will forever love to read. Even with the advancement in technology, I refuse to buy a Kindle or other technological device for reading. I prefer to feel the book in my hand, the way the paper smells when the book is either brand new or really old, and the memory of my dad and I having countless discussions about books.

I used to read every evening, but as I started to have health problems it was both difficult for me to hold the books (due to joint pain) and difficult to see some of the smaller fonts. I gradually stopped reading for pleasure. That was a sad thing because I had always enjoyed it so much. A few months ago I decided to try an eReader. I wasn't sure if it would solve the problems, so I bought a very inexpensive one from eBay. I loved it so much that I went right out and bought a Kobo. I now read constantly. It is light weight and I don't have to hold pages open, so my hands don't hurt. I can adjust the font size to make it easier to see. I carry it everywhere I go and read every chance I get. The eReader gave this pleasure back to me, and I am thrilled to have stumbled upon it. My favorite genre is thriller/suspense followed closely by true crime, but I'm willing to try just about any book so I can broaden my horizons.

Excess use of any thing is harmful. If you are using computer and some always remain in reading books both are harmful. This type of habit is a adiction and it is not good for health. We must be give appropriate time to reading from computer and from books. If you read books using books it is regard to the author of book. I like read books by using books. Few days ago I read a book which are stories by the Nobel prize winner.

I think reading is very important...it keeps your brain moving. If you sit in front of the television too much, it is so boring & it will put you in a trance. Anything that makes creativity & gets the brain waves going is good. I prefer to read mystery stories or anything by steven king! Especially before bed....it will kind of relax you :)-
