Guys, I am sure you were also given front seats to the Pomp and Pageantry of the Royal Wedding, as I was and my two daughters, glued to the boob tube the entire duration of the Will Weds Kate Fairytale Romance.

My daughter later on commented on her facebook account that I annotated the whole rites far better than commentators and reporters, identifying the characters as they flashed on the screen, criticizing the garb as if I belonged to the fashion world, noting details as if I was the wedding planner.
My other daughter actually asked me that if I was a guest, what color would I choose for a dress. I told her light yellow. And lo and behold, the queen comes in my color... So I winked at my daughter to emphasize that I have a queenly taste! And she glared at me.
Anyway, I was mesmerized by the whole wedding, but if there is a favorite scene that I could frame, it would be Kate's as she listens to William's profession of his wedding vow. Kate's face was a picture of loveliness, absorbing her prince's words. Still another scene is Kate's again, as she emerges from the Buckingham balcony and sees the sea of people cheering....

Hello, Eileen. I loved the bit as Kate came down the aisle, Harry sneaked a peek and then obviously told William how lovely she looked. Then as she joined him at the altar, William obviously told her she was beautiful - which she was. I really enjoyed the whole day, and watched it for much longer than I intended to.

I love that scene, too, and as always, Harry does something to make us see that they are for real, like us. Harry is naughty, and did you see how he was enjoying the carriage ride to the palace with the children? I suppose even if Harry is old, he will forever be a child to me.

Yeah, Harry makes the mood a little lighter for the groom, a perfect best man. I think over the years Harry was given a negative image/publicity, always the opposite of William. But to my opinion, he is the boy version of Diana, royal in blood but common in behaviour.
But is it only me or what? seems like the ring was a little small for Kate's finger looks like Will had a hard time putting it on her.
Anyway, what a romantic day not only for he newly weds but for the rest of the world who waited and watched a momentous event. So that makes Harry the next target. Right girls? To my opinion though, growing up Harry looks better than William, is it the hair?

Hello, Vannyt. Yes, Harry was a perfect best man, and the hair probably helps. As to the ring, I think that was the only sign of nerves on Kate's part. Her hands may have been a bit clammy, and her finger swelled slightly. Plus nerves may have made William a little clumsy. I'm sure it's a perfect fit, really.

I know the day was really all about William and Catherine, but I was particularly intrigued to find out who the three beautiful blondes were who sitting near the front in Westminster Abbey. Turns out they were Diana's nieces, daughters of Charles, the Earl Spencer. They were stunning and I think the BBC cameraman thought so too as they were often in shot, prior to the entrance of Kate.

Wow, Charles Spencer must be a proud dad. Lady Eliza, Lady Kitty and Lady Amelia are all simple but svelte. They look more royal than Eugenie and Beatrice...

There were many. Seeing the dress for the first time. Seeing how nervous Wills was and how Harry tried to keep things lighthearted. I loevd how Wills held Kate's hand as they walked out of the Abbey and how he Finally smiled a smile just like his mother's . It was a wonderful wedding.

I thought the royal wedding was nice though I did not watch it live. I caught bits and pieces on the news and commentaries. It was quite an event. I thought Kate's dress was absolutely beautiful and she is so pretty. There was a lot of hype with this wedding but I don't think it has the impact of the Charles and Dianna wedding 30 years ago.

Diana was a beautiful memory. That is why have another grand wedding. William made sure his mother would be remembered.

Honestly I don't have any favorite scenes because the whole thing was really amazing on me. I appreciate Kate's wedding gown as sign of simplicity with elegance. Sometimes at the wedding you could have an impression of what they are in the sense of how it was set up. As I could see the whole event I could really feel their sincerity in love.

Harry was a delight to see. He was absolutely a tease and made us all feel we were more than welcome. You are both right. The entire show was the total package. And the JUST WED ride was the encore, a bonus.... The wedding was indeed a grand royal show.

Like you, I have no favorite scenes but I love the coverage of the wedding - except the long parts before the actual wedding. I fell in love with the beautiful ceremony and the 'normal' activities that took place inside the abbey. Prince Harry's actions made me chuckle as I watch becuase I could see the same actions as in any normal wedding. It kinda made the wedding grounded to earth and less stuffy compared to other royal weddings. Of course, some more interesting events happens after the ceremony which made everyone weak in the knees with the carriage ride and the kiss on the balcony.
Pity they didn't air the reception.

Hats overload at the royal wedding! I was enlightened just only yesterday that wearing hats are signs of respect for them. The Prime Minister and his wife will be faced huge issue for not wearing hats on the royal wedding.

Whhhat? I didn't hear about that little detail! Well, the Prime Minister and his wife better explain.
I was also fascinated by the hats. I am wearing one if our family has an occasion to celebrate. Which one did you like most?

My favorite scene is the kiss in the balcony. I think it's really sweet. As I remember, they kissed twice there. I also liked the part when they were vowing to each other. I was really happy watching their weeding. I feel like I want to be wedded too.

I thought it was really nice. I thought their little snipets of comment to each other was really nice and commoner thing to do...making the wedding not so staugy. She was beautiful, loved her dress (never said anything about nor showed her shoes!) he smiled and laughed a little. I wondered why her sister was in white also as the maid of honor. I even enjoy looking and laughing at the hat parade! But what really put me off...god bless her and all, but if they compared that poor kate to diana one more time I was going to scream! I know all the memories and the family wanting her to "be there" etc...but good grief...it wasn't willliam and kate's wedding, it was Diana, William and Kate's wedding. I appreciate they included her and all, and probalby it was more the media doing it than them, but still... if I had been in kate's place I would have been a little tick off as "this is my day.. I don't mind sharing some of it with Diana for my husbands sake, but good grief...can't a little of it be about me?" kind of thing. Every thing Kate did or didn't do, was compared to what Diana did or wouldn't have done! I heard more about Diana than I did about William and/or Kate. It almost seemed like it was even at times, put down as a step below Diana's wedding and Kate a few steps lower than Diana. But it was nice and I think they should have done a really good kisser there at the end instead of just a peck. Times have changed...move with it Queen Mum!

Diana was a tough act to follow. but I think Kate asserted her own person in the wedding. She swayed gracefully down the aisle as her own self, and she was so lovely. I believe the wedding was a Kate moment actually. Not even her sexy sister could upstage her.

I didn't see the wedding on TV. I would of had to get up very early to do so and did't want to! I have seen alot of pictures and alot of the highlights of the wedding on tv! Kate looked lovely in she wedding dress! She had a smile that would not quit! Williams looked very handsome and so did his brother Harry! Pippa Middleton,Kate's sister, looked incredible in her white dress! The little bridesmaids and pages looked so adorable! I did not like Camille's big hat! I could not believe Victoria Beckam wore like 5 inch heels while being 7 months pregnant! The worse outfit was worn by Princess Beatrice! The dress was a dull color and the hat was totally ridiculous! She must of gotten her fashion sense form mom who has known! Yikes! I loved the balcony kieeses by Kate and WIlls! Seeing them drive around in that Ascot,Charles car,was awesome, too! Those are my favorite scenes!

I was shocked when I saw Beatrice and Eugenie. I was expecting some lovely young ;adies, because they were once so cute and adorable. I was horrified and felt so bad for Andrew. His daughters should have been more royal like...

I enjoyed the whole thing completely. I thought Kate was beautiful including the gown. I loved the scene where Prince Harry was looking back at his future sister-in-law and said something to his brother like "wait to you see her". It was so funny and real at the same time. I thought the brothers and Kate were all down to earth and not stuck up like Charles and previous family members. They are so much more like their mom was. I love it. However, I have to say I'm not into yellow at all and would have loved to wear either a pink dress with hat or light color blue dress.

Harry was a hit, and he roasted his brother totally. From the teasing when Kate was walking down the aisle, to the heart balloons attached to the JUST WED top down car, to the after party, Harry supported his elder brother. The two boys are becoming good examples for the youth today.

Much as i look forward to their wedding, i didn't get the chance to see it live as i'm working. It should be a fun and lively wedding ceremony as prince william is one who likes to break traditions, and i really hope to watch it again. NOt forgetting about those wonderful, beautiful wedding gowns, on top of the lavish settings, romantic confessions, they will be more than enough to melt my heart.

I really like the time when finally Kate and William was able to see each other at the altar...and oh, the moment Prince William whispered "you looked so beautiful" at Kate. So kilig.

My eagerness was in the long waiting of the kissing scene and good was caught by the camera man or else he will be forced to resign.

Unfortunately I was working when the wedding was happening last night Australian time...I did however catch the bit when William put the ring on Kate & they were pronounced man & wife. i can't give you my favourite bit but I can tell you that I absolutely love the the dress that Kate was wearing.

A dress could convey a thousand meanings, but I take it that Kate, in all humility, submits herself to the man she loves... who happens to be a prince. The lace style s conservative and laid back, but Kate showed that she is every inch a princess...

I just loved the whole thing it was just beautiful! I could not help thinking about lady Diana how proud she would have been! in a way I think the prince looks very much like his mum! I just hope that Kate does not get overwhelmed by the royal traditions and be able to lead quite a normal life. The Queen did not look happy at all don't you think? she barely smiled and she did not wave at the crowds! she just sat there like she was not part of it at all!

The queen was in pale yellow, old but welcoming. She did acknowledge the reception at the foot of the Abbey. I think she is not as strong as she used to be/ Let's not mind too much the wobbly aged. I love the zest that is William and Kate, and impish Harry, too.

Hello Eileen,
I didn't watch it that much but my MOM did as if she didn't want to miss a special moment in history. she was fascinated by the huge area inside the cathedral, expecting to see the former Filipina maid, and finally, the KISS.

You mean Lily Piccio? Well, she said she wasn't invited in the church ceremony and she was in the mighty strong servants in attendance. But she got to hug the Prince... and that was all that mattered...

1. When Kate stepped down from the car and revealed her gown. It was one of the things I was waiting for and I really loved that gown!
2. Her cute little entourage. I loved her pageboys!
3. Seeing William and Harry together waiting for Kate on the altar.
4. The Royal Kiss! They did it twice! I watched it live and both were a blur to me. I wanted a third time! One commentator said, "Third time's the charm. Come on, William!" But of course he didn't hear it. I see images of the kiss (.gifs) of them kissing and it's slowmo this time so I could really enjoy it! haha
Also, when you looked at the picture of the Royal Kiss, you could see a little girl on the left side who wasn't all too keen on the noise the crowd was making. Her face was adorable!
