You don't bring me flowers anymore

the last time i got a special something for no special reason was when my precious daughter came into the world. not sure how that happened because i was just back from 2 years at sea! (just kidding!)

hi, actually i cant remember when was the last time that i've got a special something for no special reason,i am not a materialistic person,i dont need much of that,and all i need is the him,the presence of him is already worth and enough for me.

My husband has been very good to me, and usually gets me things every now in then just because I have wanted it or needed it. But my favorite times are when he does something unexpected, like doing the laundry, or cleaning up the house, or taking care of the baby after I have been up all night. Those are the best things, because it helps me greatly, and it shows me how much he cares about me. My second favorite time is when he got me my wedding band. When we got married we weren't able to get wedding bands because we couldn't afford them. I have only had my engagement ring. So for christmas my husband got me a wedding band and a necklace that says mom. Those two items mean the world to me. I was so surprised that he got me my wedding band, it was just so unexpected. It is something that I will cherish forever. I think that the best things in life are those that are unexpected and it doesn't have to be something that is materialistic just a simple kiss or I love you suffices me.

Hi missy! I'm kinda surprised that you're saying this! I pictured Sconi as the "romantic type". My bf is the "cheap creep" type! He didn't get me anything for this past Valentine's Day because he was mad at me. He didn't get me anything for Easter-same story! And he never gets me something for no reason! Cheap!

I am alot like you I dont NEED material things like flowers or jewelry but it IS nice to get gifts for no reason other than to show appreciation just last week my husband bought me a tulip plant He said he thought it was pretty and that I would like it so he got it for me

For me if not then no money will lost so good.

I cannot really remember. I can tell you that I am more likely to get an unexpected gift than an expected one. Of course, I get served coffee in bed almost every morning, and meals fixed and served to me from time to time.

I have long time not got special thing for no reason ,and also I don't give others.I am so busy to my work ,and forget to do someting that will let my friends pleasant. I think I will do it soon .life need the special thing.

Flowers are still a nice gesture and a great gift to receieve. Flowers are the kind of gift that you could give for any occasion and feel good about.

I have not bought yet anything for my girl yet as i dont have much money these days with me, But yes, I went to buy shoes for me and my younger brother last week and there I saw a pair of shoes,Which I thought of Buying for her. It Looked as if they were talking to me to get them for her.

Well i got my girl a valentine's gift and i am sure she liked it well as i did. I seriously like her a lot but i am feeling kinda cut off from her as she has been coming rarely online now and she will be coming soon and she will have an answer for it hopefully. She really loved my gift and even posted pictures of it online which i see everyday now! Cheers!

I love it when my man randomly brings me things like flowers. Sometimes he'll go out and buy them and sometimes he'll pick them. He's even made me one out of paper before and it was really cute :) I HATE when he gets me them and people are like "what did he do?". Just because he's getting me flowers does not mean that he did something wrong and is trying to make up for it. Sometimes he'll be in a store or something and bring home candy or another small thing that he knows I like.

Given that we're students, and therefore skint, and the fact I'm trying to lose weight, my boyfriend doesn't have many options for surprising me with gifts. Flowers are okay but honestly I'm not that bothered. But anyways, back to the point, the last thing my boyfriend surprised me with was one of those lindt egg things, the red wrapper ones about the size of a creme egg? I love them, and they're really hard to find now that Easter is over. He also surprised me by buying me a little cuddly rhino when we were at the zoo last week. He said it was tradition to go with the little cuddly toys we've bought at other zoos so far (we're both zoology students so zoos are a sort of hobby). It was only a little thing but it really made me smile - and he then spent the drive home trying to come up with a name for it which was adorable. Other than that it's little things like suggesting we stay in and watch a movie rather than going out with friends for the third night in a row (student lifestyle!) or sending me a sweet text.

Almost every day - my lady brings me coffee if I'm working, leaves a note just 'because', etc. (And yes, I do the same.) On another note, your title and first line made me chuckle. That's typical girl-talk: "You don't do this. It's OK though." Well, obviously it isn't or you wouldn't have mentioned it.

The last time a gift for no reason I was served a few months ago.I did not receive flowers and got a wonderful chair for the computer in the first moment the feeling was very pleasant.Hopefully each of us have such moments.It's really important to get gifts for no reason.
