As the line says the more, the merrier, there are things that is more fun to do if you're doing it in group but on the other side of the coin there are also escapades that is more enjoyable if done in discreet. If you are traveling for pleasure, would you travel alone or in group?

I prefer to travel alone. There's just too much stress for me if I'm with a group! There are times when I would like to go to this place and that, and it's a hassle to try and convince my friends to go to that place. If I'm travelling for pleasure, I would like to travel in solace. "Solace is my Pleasure", someone said. ;)

I agree with you, and there's no one we need to consider what they want to do or where they want to go. Being alone gives us pleasure sometimes. But since I have a kid now, I prefer to travel with him.

Depends on what I'm doing If I'm going somewhere to have fun, yea I will definitely bring friends along. If it's something serious I'd rather go alone.

there are some instances that certain personality of our friends tend to spoil the fun. haven't you experienced that?

i rather to go in a group but with the people that i know... not with strangers... i don't feel comfortable travelling and sharing a room with strangers... family and friends are OK... i don't like to travel alone as well as it will be too lonely and scary for me... take care and have a nice day...

Travelling as a group is what i would love to do. As the saying goes 'the More the merrier'.

I would travel in a group if I was travelling alone through Europe.I would feel safer and more relaxed. It is so far away from home and I often think I would go one day on an organised tour.It would be fun.For trips closer to home I would consider going on my own.It is easier to jump a plane back if I am unhappy.

I would rather travel alone than with a group of friends. I have some friends that I really enjoy being with but I feel the most comfortable when I am alone.

I think I would rather traveling alone with my family. I don't really like traveling with whole bunch of people that I don't know. So if I was to travel, I would do individual traveling instead of traveling in groups like tour kind. So that we have freedom and decide where and when we want to go visit or sightsee. If in groups, we will have to follow the tour guide.

When you travel in a group you end up seeing the sights chosen by another. you have little choice in the decision process. Traveling alone leaves those choices entirely up to you.

...Hi bossand boss, Welcome to the ranch, enjoy yourself. I have traveled in a group a few times, at least one with a friend and others who we didn't know too well. But it was on a cruise ship and it all worked out well, because we all could do exactly what we wanted to do individually. Eevn my friend and I, she went where she wanted to and so did I. I believe we were all sitting together for dinner, then off again. I loved it. My trip with a group of my friends turned out fine as well, they couldn't believe that the cost of the trip was as economical as it was and expected to be hit with some extra charge before we would be able to leave. We were not, it was a great bargain in a very nice hotel. We did not confirm our flight back and had to take a later flight but that was not a big deal. So I have had a good time with both those types of situations. Then I have tried to put a group together with everyone backing out, until I stopped doing that and went all by myself. Met nice people, had to be careful as a woman, but I have had a few great vacations all on my own. So when I traveled more, which is not the case now, with the taking off of shoes and getting x-rayed, I enjoyed it a lot. Cheers.

Well the idea of traveling in a group sounds really tiresome because what if the group is going to fast for you to enjoy the sights.with that type of thing i would rather be with one other person.not a group and not alone as that gets lonely at times.

Well it depends on the things or activities we will be doing. but so far, i only enjoy when i am with my boyfriend. i don't have friends like i can really say true friends. well i used to have but not until they forgot about me because they only wanna have fun while i cant be with them because i was more serious about my studies. after that they never invite me. i am always the one reaching out but i am tired already. if they don't like then i don't like hanging out with them either i realized that it is better i travel alone than be with people who only want to boast what they have. and also when i am with my boyfriend, i am most comfortable and i enjoy most

If I want to have fun, I will definitely invite all of my friends to travel. But if I want to explore or do some adventures, I tend to do it by myself. You see, not a lot of people see explorations or adventures as fun or pleasure. What is fun and relaxing for them is just shopping, touring and eating...hehehe... Well, most of my friends are like that. hehehe... So better do it solo or bring someone who also loves the same thing as you do.

I want to travel alone , if I can. I mean I travel in groups and they are like day and night respectively , I can't think when I am being surrounded I want as much space and in contrast need to be safe too

In my younger days I enjoyed traveling alone and on my trips made friends along the way. I found youth hostels to be very friendly places with travelers from many different countries. I had a backpack on my back so I left my hands free. I have been on a few trips with my sister and found those ever so enjopyable. I have been on three different trips with my ex-boyfriend. I liked budget accommodation and he liked luxury accommodation. Since my disabled son was born I have traveled with him and then the year before last my daughter joined us. We traveled to Colombia earlier this year and last year we celebrated my daughter's first birthday in Victoria on Vancouver Island in Canada. I would rather travel alone than in a group then I can choose to do what I like to. When alone I can move at my own pace and see all the destinations that I choose.

I think I would enjoy going with a group but I think I would like it best if it was good friends of mine but it could also be allot of fun to travel with strangers because then you get to meet new people. I don't think I would want to travel alone because I think I would like to have someone there to experiance the vacation with me.

I have done lot of travelling both single as well as in group. When you are in group and where lot of restrictions come up in your movement, you feel it would have been better had you been alone but when you are alone you some times get bored even in a most enchanting place and feel some of your near and dear ones should have been with you. During my younger days I have toured a lot in groups for N.C.C. camps and college study tours mostly by Indian Railways. It had been the most enjoyable times of my life. During the later part of my life as I was working abroad I got lot of opportunity to move alone to some of the most developed cities of the world like London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome, Bangkok, Singapore etc. but to be very frank I could not enjoy these places being alone. I might have been better off had I been with my friends or relatives.

hi bossandboss i would like to travel in a group and i do not like to be alone , having a group to travel is more enjoyable and fun it is especially you are close to each other , i having experiences that you never experience before. actually me and my friends are planning to have a vication on another country , having a companion is not that bad because if you are in danger some one can help you. i tried also to travel alone you know it is so hard to travel alone along the plane you are just sitting there , watching , or sleeping while some of them are talking to the plane they are having there pictures. If you are alone you will get bored , you will get sad in such a way that you go for a trip to enjoy not to be sad and that scenario, i do not like to be happen again, i just spend my money here in my country with my friends rather than traveling alone.

I'd love to travel either alone or in groups it doesnt matter. Travelling alone would be a great adventure, you go wherever you wanna go, you get to appreciate your life more and make new friends while travelling. Travelling in groups is also great, with friends you can go wild and crazy and there would surely be some hilarious and unforgettble moments during travel.
