I arrived home from seminar and auditor's meeting,it's been late already and i am tired and want to lie down and sleep.
But i still need to attend one more occasion ...my daughter bestfriend's debut party.
So,i went straight to my room to have some shower and changed my clothes before going to the party and found out it's locked (ugh!!!)
...and i don't have my keys since it's missing and darn me i didn't bring the spare one hanging in my room key holder.
..Wait,i didn't locked my room when i left this noon...why it is locked?
Forget..maybe my daughter did.
I called my son, fortunately he is the only one left at home since his 2 siblings were at the party already.
He is a master key ...uhmnn...he unlocked my room door using a card (game card like an Atm card ...fine yeah!!! )
Now dear mylotters...if you lost/misplaced or leave your keys inside house/rooms/car ..
how did you managed to get in?
Call the police before you break you glass window (hehehe..just kidding)
Anyway...how did you do it?...just hammer the door knob
Today is May 1..not April fools day..but i think i am being fooled this first of MAY.(ahaha)
Weekdays ahead again dear friends and mylotters...enjoy the rest of Sunday
Jaiho- having not to so good day -May 1,2011-Sunday

the good news is that may 1st is over and hopefully your set of keys will be found soon. hehe
when in a rush and with the keys missing, it really sends us off into panic mode. over time, we have lost some of our keys too but i've never lost mine yet. and even if i did misplace it somewhat i've devised a plan of action to overcome it by setting a little trick in the windows. so i need not panic when i accidentally lock the duplex rooms where i'm staying at home right now.
as for the keys for the rest of the house, we have 4 copies. one set each for my mom, my brother (who lives in the next town), the safety deposit box in our bank, and the master set in my home office.
so far, we haven't resorted to hammering or breaking the locks yet. but we change locks every now and then and update our keys.
have a great start this week. tc

dear myles,
Don't worry i won't brag with "WEDDING BELLS' this time (ahahaha)
I hope it is just misplaced,as it never been my habit to carry keys everywhere in the house.
The moment i entered the house i have it hanged on the key holder at the side wall near the door.
I am always aware with keys, can't afford to lose the front and back door keys ...those keys cannot be duplicated,so losing one is a real frustration to me.
uhmnn....so how's the bride to be?

If we want to refuse something, there's always a reasons, scapegoats and alibis to support our negation. However, if we like and want something there are also lots ways and means to get it...

Hello my dear sister,
Have you managed to open it up or not? I am very much careful on ‘keys’ as I am locking the home door every day before leaving. My hubby lost his bike’s key twice, first time the spare key helped him second time he had to call the service people to open the lock and change the same.

hello friend,
Oh this age thing.
I love it as i get older ,but no to being a grandma thing (ugh,i am still young for that eh)
I never locked my room, maybe it's my daughter who locked it thinking i have my keys with me.
And the still missing keys...it's not my fault...it's my kids..
I just wish those keys will suddenly popped out.
happy Monday

i am a very organized person and that's what my kids hate about me.
when i enter their rooms and i can see things not in proper place...they know where to find the missing things once they're looking for it.
...surely it's in the trash bin
that's what i do make them organize too.
it's just maybe a bad day to test my temper..but nah...i am so pretty happy and can't spoil my day eh

Oh, you are in great situation. You have to break the lock in any case now. Don't hesitate there is no other option. Use a stone or anything just break the lock and do what you want to do after that.

And I am thinking of replacing my locks with numeric locks which opens by passwords. In this way I will never lose my keys anymore.

it happened to me once before... i and my hubby locked ourselves outside our house and we have to ask for help from our neighbour... fortunately, our neighbour is a handyman and he can open one of the window for us... and then he asked his son to climb in and open the door for us... it is really annoying though and it happened on sunday as well... take care and have a nice day...

hello ling,
Good thing you have this friendly neighbor (i remember spiderman..hehehe)
These keys really give us hard time eh.
I am thinking on how to avoid these problem...whether to have a a hidden place somewhere in the other part of the house or outside the house.
The problem is...why if we forgot where did we put those keys ...that will surely be another problem.
thanks for your response and have a great Monday

dear bhai,
If my son is not at home by that time, probably i could have break the knob,as i am impatient too (sometimes )
Good thing he is there and he is one kind of a master key ...only for ordinary knob.
He can't beat the front door and back door of our house...we have a special door knob for those 2 main doors and it can't be opened with simply inserting a card or even a pin.
thanks for being the first responder and hope you are doing fine ...

Darn keys! this is when i would definitely find another way to get into my room. Locked doors or not, there has to be a way inside.

hello sender,
Yes sure thing i also find other ways just to open that door and enter my room.
It can be just one big blow with a hammer ...but oh...another costs for a new door knob.
have good morning and great Monday

that has happened to me and us in the family at home many times already. what we do is break the door knob (in cases of not having the duplicate keys LOL)
there are also times we would even use cards and well even the back/handles of spoons or forks they work too somehow. but in case we really cant open, then we just dismantle the door knob, then just fix and put them back together again when we have finally opened the door

hello cherish,
I never break my front door or my back door.
The door knob in there are not ordinary one and i can't be easily break too.
Fine with rooms inside the house,it can be break by hammer or by using a card.
it's really annoying when this thing happen, and this is not usually happens to me that is why i am so pissed off.
thanks for your response and have a great Monday

bhaby,
Now i know you are also a master key.
But i know you don't need any key when entering your main door,
you can climb up to the roof and enter your room from there right?

It happened to me before not only once but three times! Every afternoon, i usually take my son, whos 2 years old then, to my aunt's place. When we came back to our house, he wanted to go straight to our room. It was locked. I forgot the keys hanging at the back of the door of our room. What i did was i find a long stick actually it was a steel post, went to my room's window. Weve got this screen on our windows so i tried to open the small flap. And i maneouver the stick to reach for the keys! I got it but it took me 2o minutes. Lol

And,i also imagine how many times you fixed that screen window you flap (oh my girl)
Anyway, this really happens and ugh, really frustrating but funny too
Thanks for your response and have a great Monday
