UPS lost my box

I dropped off a box at UPS store one week ago and did not request a receipt, but so far I checked in their system with the tracking number and without any information shows that UPS received or shipped my package, I will go to that UPS store Monday and see what happen, anybody have a similar situation please share your experience, thanks a LOT!

Hey there and a warm welcome to myLot!
I had this once a long time ago and since I was the sender they were able to look up the information and track my package fairly quickly. So await on Monday, and it will be a bit frustrating but they will at least be able to track the last destination of the package.
Best of luck, hope it does get resolved soon, mine took two phone calls before I got my information.

Hi foxfox, first, welcome to myLot.
I am in India and use UPS a lot for my business. What happens when I use UPS is that they give me a Shipper's instruction when they pick up the package (I know it is a bit different here, especially on that point). The package then go on to the local UPS office from where they will generate the tracking number. Tracking number is not generated unless the shipment is leaving UPS office. Sometimes UPS don't give me tracking number and by the time I get the tracking number from them, the shipment would already arrive at destination.
Saying all that, one week is a bit long for nothing to show up. I suggest you go and enquire it in the UPS Shop.

Thanks for reply, I will go to the UPS store tomorrow to see what I can do later, the package is the laptop computer I returned to Dell. I hope I can get the money back finally.
