Why do my responses have only an asterick

You cannot rate your own responses, so you will not see your own + or - with any of your responses. Same applies to me, I will only see the (!) which it is given to us if we want to report it to Admin for deletion of some sort.

All members here are similar with you if you check it from your own post. There's no feature in the thread that you can report your own post but you can do it from other post. That's the reason you can see the +, - and !. Don't worry, you didn't violate any rules here.

You can only see the [!] button against your posts because you cannot rate your own posts, you can only 'report' them (for example, if you would like a post deleted).

That is because you won't be able to give positive or negative rate to your own post or comment. I'm not using the exclamation point (!) but I heard that you can use it if you want to notify Admin that you want your post be deleted or something. Keep on enjoying myLot :)

hi hnaboro no you did nothing wrong. you never have plus or minus signs on your own responses as we none of us can rate ourselves. you have an exclamation point instead so you can report any violations by otheres or ask to have your discussion deleted if you accidentally had a duplicate. You are just like all of us we have no plus or minus signs on our wown responses as it would be unfair to rate ourselves

I think it's just because they're your posts - as in, because you're looking at your own posts you can't see the + or -. I can see it fine :) I don't think you've done anything wrong, don't worry.
