Smelly Farts

Everyone has the habit that he can forgive himself but cannot accept something from the others.In fact farts from anyone never smell good!

Interesting post, really. I've been asking that question inside my mind thinking I'm not supposed to blurt it out cause it's gonna sound ridiculous. LOLs Well my guess is that the "control-part" of our brain tells our "smell-part" of the brain: "Hey you this system is about to expel some waste gas! Don't over react once you sense it it's just from within our territory!" ...and then that makes you feel your fart smells just fine - not necessarily good-smelling. LOLs.

Your discussion made me laugh! I have never thought that my fart smells good, its just that our nose is more accoustomed to our smell and takes a dislike for others smelly fart. What a thoughtful topic though!

I have wondered about this time and time again. I think all farts stink including my own. But my husband always says his don't stink they smell like perfume. Don't he wish. His drives everyone out of the house for a few hours yet he can stand it. I swear his nose has no sense of smell. Most likely from all of the years of smelling them I would imagine. But as far as I am concerned all farts stink including our own.

It all depends on the foods you eat. Foods that contain higher amounts of sulphur in them will smell more- eggs, peanuts, meat etc...

Ha!Ha! It's a funny question albeit interesting that you asked. Well, for discussion sake, I think it's something personal to the one who claims that his/her fart "smells good". But I don't think so... Fart is Fart and no fart "smells good" because it contains a small amount of hydrogen sulfide gas and the "stinky" elements are made up of nitrogen-rich compound called skatole and indole - the two elements that makes fart smelly. As such, I would rather say that the stench is "tolerable" because it comes from his / her own body and that he or she can't do anything about it.

haha! this is a funny discussion and in fairness this has made me think :) I think our own farts smells good because it is our own. as they say, love your own :)

When you fart your pretty much used to your own smell. Your body usually produces the same variety of smells. So when some one else smells your fart they're not really used to it and think it smells really bad. It's all up in the brain I think.

Ummmm I've never heard this before. I think all farts stink. Maybe you have magical rainbow farts, but I think you are the only one. Do you eat a lot of skittles?

All farts smell bad but your own farts are bearable because you're not disgusted by yourself as much as you are other people. I think we also have our own distinct farts and we are used to our own farts but other people are not. that is only thing i can come up with. Perhaps someone else will have a better answer to your fart question.
