Problem with the paypal..!

Hey friends got a problem with paypal, paypal site is not even opening for me, I am from India,Is it a common problem for every one in India....?, It doesn't seems for me because i cant able to access paypal for the past 10 days, I think it may be due to my new modem, My old modem had an error due to heavy thunder, and so i replaced it with the new one, From the first day i installed the new one,i cant able to access paypal, and also some other sites became very slow to access, Mediafire is taking 15 minutes to load my files, but when i used the old modem it takes only 2 seconds to load my files, same broadband plan Indeed Just the modem is different, I checked my speed through torrent there is no difference in speed at all. I am missing so much of valuable sites, Even i tried to access paypal with 5 different kinds of browsers but still no use,I don't think its a common problem. Kindly suggest any ideas to rectify it....!
My brand new modem is made by the company "netfox".
Hope i will get some solutions....!

it does not matter for paypal,whatever the modem is.i am from india too.and i am using paypal quite easily.may be you have done something wrong while registration,or wrote your pan card no wrong.paypal is nowadays is strict for perfect pan card nos.so,check it out.if the problem persists,write it down.

I think you didn't read the full discussion, its not a login problem dude, I cant even able to open the site, My browser is showing "the webpage is not available"

well,then you have to switch to another network domain.or you can continue operating a mobile network.using internet by mobile is a money saver ,too.i just need your paypal to do working.other jobs can be done by ur old network.i think so.

paypal is working fine
Well it looks like the problems is in your modem.
but as you say you can download torrents and all with the same speed as before is making me confuse too
better contact your service provider and tell them that the new modem is giving you lots of problems
hope they would replace it for you

Yes it is,Its all up to my vendor,I dont have to hurry at all i think so,I got more time to fix it, because there is not even a single penny in my paypal account because i just opened the account a month ago, I used alertpay for an year and tired of being charged more fees to transfer money to my bank account and decided to open an account in paypal and now it went like this....!

There is one problem in it, The service provider said that it will take more time for them to provide a new modem to me,Because of being bored without internet,i bought a third party modem irrespective of the service provider. So the service provider can't fix it. May be i can go after the vendor who sold this to me, thank god that it has an year of warranty. hope that i can claim it.......!

Hi krishnan235, I saw your discussion few minutes back regarding the paypal opening problem you face. I immediately tried to open it. I am very glad to say that there is no problem with paypal . I am from the southern tip Of India.

And i too from the southern tip of India from the state tamilnadu and my place is located at the border of tamilnadu very near to pondicherry, And i cant access paypal still, any ways it revealed its the problem for me alone and so i can step ahead on the basis of modem from now onwards.......!

I have been using paypal for over 3 years and I have bever experienced any problems. However I have heard that a lot of people from India have experiened problems. Try emailing the customer support department. The number to customer support is 1-888-221-1161.

Hi krishnan, i am also from india. I am able to open paypal account without any problem, previously i used mobile internet which will be slow speed, through that also i was able to open paypal account. You try to open your paypal account from any other place and if that is success, then sure your internet will be the problem. Sometimes i also have problem in opening some sites but after certain days it will automatically open. I had problem in sites like ewbux, evolutionbux, etc.

In india paypal still work fine and india is permitted to use paypal. In countries such as Nigeria, paypal does not operate here. Paypal stop in Nigeria in 2000 due to internet fraud that is being committed by Nigerians,Ghananian and other west african nationals. cheers

Oh come on dude, its been working for me till April, Not working for the past 9 days only, I called couple of my friends to check whether the site is working or not and they were able to access it but not me still, and so i need any soft solution for the modem......!

I can't be of much help here as I am not very good in computer stuff. It does sound like you are having problem with your modem rather than the Paypal site. Paypal is working fine for me. I logged in a few minutes ago, everything's fine.
It could be that there might be cross wire or some settings in your modem need to be changed.
If I were you, I would call someone who has good knowledge about Networking, and find out for sure if it is the problem with the Modem. If it is, change it. You could probably get a replacement for that as it is obviously defective (confirmation from Network Engineers would help).
