Today's Devotional and Scripture =)

I decided to post a devotional/Scripture and I'll try and do it daily. It seems that a lot of people here on mylot can use some daily bread to help with life's circumstances, so here goes please comment if you'd like...God Bless
Rise during the night and cry out. Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord. Lift up your hands to him in prayer, pleading for your children, for in every street they are faint with hunger.
The people's suffering and sin should have brought them to the Lord, weeping for forgiveness. Only when sin breaks our hearts can God come to our rescue. Just feeling sorry about experiencing sin's consequences does not bring forgiveness. But if we cry out to God, He will forgive us.

Might be nice to add your own personal touches, experiences, etc too? Maybe apply them to the issues people are faced with today a little more perhaps? Make it unique & add value to it, that's the way.

Indeed! If we cry to God, He will forgive us. Not just that if we ask forgiveness we should seek Him with all our hearts. In that way we can find His face and begin to hold us again.
