Good for you that you can speak 5 languages. Language is a part of cultural and national identity and it just goes to show how culturally diverse you are. I speak two languages fluently English and Spanish and for me, it helps me to interact with more people than I would otherwise. It also to helps to keep me in touch with my past cultural identity.

I am an Indian and you know India is a multilingual country where English and Hindi get the top priority. I know both of these two languages and being a Bengali, I also know that language. I salute your masterly command over five different languages, it is no doubt very unique of you.

yeah, in indian you have some sort of "advantage", because if you want to do tourism, even in India, you will have to speak english. That is pretty good as well, because you will ahve more leve of english than, spanish (like me) for example. Nowadays people is realzing how important is having a second language, but at a very low rate i have to say...

Wow, that's amazing! How I wish I could speak more languages, too. I can speak fairly in Ilocano, Tagalog and English and I can understand a little bit of Kankana-ey. :) But if I had my way I wish to study French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Korean, Italian and Japanese. However, I think that's a long shot! Lol.

i can never found anyone a Filipino can beat Jose Rizal in terms of Plentiful of Languages learned.....
That makes Jose Rizal the national hero because he knows very many of the languages but he keeps on forcing us to learn only one language and that's Tagalog.....

For me, it is not so important to so someone who know about the number of languages.
It is more important to judge how well a person knows about a language.
In Malaysia as me, most of us know to speak and to write in at least than three languages.
The three major languages are Bahasa Malaysia (Melayu), English, and Mandarin.
Other than these three languages, I can speak the Chinese dialects like Fujian and Cantonese. For the dialect hakka, I just can understand.
Other than these languages, I know about computer languages as Fortran and Assembly languages.
ha! ha!
I am multi-lingual in human-being languages and machine languages.

Great that you know so many languages, that gives a great chance to talk with anyone!!
For me, Spanish, my native language, English for here and some other computer things mainly, and a little of Portuguese too, but not really understand it quite well. I generally like to write in English but can't speak it very well, and for real speaking I have only Spanish though.

I am fluent in English, I can both speak, write and read. I cam fluent in Vietnamese just speaking, reading just a little but and I cannot write. I took 3 years of Spanish in Highschool, I can speak, write, read just a little like a preschooler level, lol!

I'm using 4 different languages and 4 dialects. But here in our province there are 66 dialects.
I'm using tagalog and english in our office, while in our house it depends upon the visitors. My cousins speak bisaya, while my in laws speak Ilocano. My uncle is a cuyuno (a dialect here in our province).
If we have guests from Germany, I can speak duetsch, if Italian and spanish, I speak the same.
Yes, I'm proud that I know how to speak different languages.

I'm always impressed with how many languages some people can speak.
I'm English so I use English most of the time. However, I work for a company which has offices in France, so I speak French with them, and also my brother lives in Austria so when we go over there I speak German. My French is still very much better than my German, but I'm working on it :)
That probably doesn't sound like many languages to you, but it's 3 times as many as most of the English people I know.

I am from Belgium, a little country in the middle of Europe. Since the country exists out of two major parts, Flanders and Wallonia, I speak Dutch (not Deutsch = German) and French. English is also a language I speak and I'm taking lessons Spanish in school now. I understand a little bit of German but I can't really speak it. And I can read Greek but I don't understand it (just the alphabet).

Hi there I think is so good to know and speak other languages! I grew up in a multicultural environment...grandparents Italians...grandmothers Portuguese...but I grew up speaking Spanish! because I grew up in South America...so now I live in Australia and I speak English as well! I mostly forgot my Italian and Portuguese because I have not practiced it for years....but I can still read and mostly understand those languages.
