When you are interviewing for a new job and the interviewer asks you why you want to leave your present employer, is the answer " career growth" still an acceptable answer? How do you answer the question if the real reason why you want to leave your present employer is because you are not happy anymore and that you do not like the way things are being run. However, you cannot say those reasons to the interviewer as saying something negative about your employer would really not be good.
so, what do you think should be the best answer to convince or impress the interviewer?

I think career growth is a good reason, but if that's what you say it's vey generic. It almost sounds like you're saying it because you've heard it's a good thing to say.
Something more specific would be better, especially if it ties into the job you are being offered. For instance, if you're applying for a management position you could say you want the opportunity to run a larger group of people or manage a larger budget or similar, and it's not available in your current role.
Much better to say you have outgrown your current role than that your current role is unsatisfactory.
