Old friendeship

I have caught up with a few classmates on FB. I think it's interesting to see how they look and where they are now. Majority of my classmates including my self left our hometown. I did run into a guy who had a big crush on me in high school but I had a crush on his friend..lol..Lucky for me I ran into him when i was in need of help with my computer and he so happened to be a computer whiz and was able to fix my computer that had a major virus in it also backed up my pics. We are just friends these days since he is in a relationship.

Yes, I can feel your emotion because I have faced similar situation in very recent past. I noticed one lady frequently visited my social network but I could not identify her as her acial was changed so much. After some days she ask me one question which acted as clue and our friendship again rejuvinated.

My cousin was my childhood best friend but she has become a nun. We haven't seen each other for a very long time since her whole family moved to another city when we were in our teens due to financial problems. However, i can still recall what we did when we were young. We would play with my new toys and then she would sleep in our house. We would watch a movie using betamax then and then we would argue. Every time we argued she would go home and wouldn't show her face to me for a long time. And then the next time we would meet, it's as if nothing has happened.

Thinking of our golden days that is our schol days & college days are always special & unforgettable in life. I never used to think about anything except studies, games & enjoyment. No burdens, no responsibilities, no stress, no strain & lot of friends to hang out. I got my school friends back through Facebook recently & I was astonished to see some of the faces, they have changed so much that I couldn't even recognize few. It's always a nice feeling when you see your old friend unexpectedly & we recollect all the fun we had in our school days. I'm planning to meet my school friends soon & we are going to have a small get together party. Sad part is we can not go back to that golden era again in our life. We all miss our schools, colleges & friends a lot. Once you are out of your college & get into a job, you can not get in touch with friends often. Every bosy is busy with their life earning money, planning for their future, for their kids, & forget friends.

It is great that social network websites like facebook,orkut and many.many people meet their old friends of school,colleges after so many areas or from remote areas.it is great website to mingle all friends and keep in touch contionously through social networks.

ya, its great to see old friends ,2 weeks before i had got a call of my old friend georgy......., i remember the beautiful days with him , and i understand how its friendship worths....

About a year ago i also saw someone i had attended school with when we first started school. I remembered him but i dont think he remembered me.

old friendship sometimes gives sad or good memories. if it is good memories you can smile even if you are alone. if it is bad you still feel the hurt it gave you even if it is 30-50 years ago.

Memories of childhood is pleasant memories. I also feel happy when I see friend or my class mat. Some of my childhood friend don't recognise me but I remind him/her that I was your class fellow. I want to meet my childhood friends. But some time when I meet with any childhood friend he respond cool than it disappoint me.

oh yes! i bet all of us want to go back at some point of our lives, if only we have the chance.. :) well if i have, i'll surely go back to the time when dad was still alive and when we were in bad terms, i want to fix things and be with him for a longer time. and when my best friend was still here with me, i want to fe fair with him, he exerted much efforts for us to be comfortable always, for us to feel like there's no problem even if he will be leaving. that was about 3 years ago.

Memories sure do live on, it is wonderful to reflect on the good ones of the past.

WOW it is always so nice to hear from old friends specially if it is unexpected i keep looking up for my class and school mates on FB too and i did find a few and it was such a pleasant surprise talking to them after so many years!! we actually remembered all the 'wars' we used to have on silly topics!

Hi there! I do meet my high school friends yesterday and it's a good feeling when you meet them again. We talk a lot about what we are doing in our high school days. We even talk about our classmates who have families of their own. We even laugh because of those funny memories of ours ahahah! Anyways, I hope we meet again soon! Be Blessed!

Hi you are true we always cherish those days even i had an experience when i found one of my friend in a mall after about 10 years it was a great and naturally refreshing experience as we both recalled those days,it was very nice feeling.

I don't have that experience. I found many of my classmates in Elementary but never add all of them. Because they never remember as their classmates

Wow how nice that you had the opportunity to bump into an old friend. I too have had a few reunions with some from years ago and it is so nice to discuss the old days and have such a good time with the recollections. Life is so short so anything with good memories attached to them is a true blessing.

It's so nice to have fond memories such as these from years ago. Faebook has really brought a lot of people back together in this world - easily reconnected. I love the memories. I was just thinking earlier this morning of a friend on Facebook who's birthday is today, that I should post pictures of us growing up. She would love to see them. Now, I just need to find them! I know they aren't too far or hidden here in the house :-)
