veproye31 It all depends on the mindset and the customs. I have known of many arrange marriages where couple fell in love after the arrangment. I have known of free marriages that end in divorce. It all depends.

veproye31 In the Unites States it is pretty much legal for a man or woman to do what they want with their names. What you have done is not strange. My Sister in Law kept her maiden name, after marriage. I have known of women who did not take their husband names at all.
