In my country lately, the hot issue now is that some people accused the Christians to topple the government and want to make Christianity as the religion of the country. One of the newspapers published an article about the issue based on information from two blogs. One group whom called themselves as PERKASA even declared holy war to the Christians in the country if we Christians keep on belittle their race and religion. What make them think that the Christians trying to belittle them? As far as I can see, since the beginning of the issue, the Christians have been very patience. We never react in any aggressive manners. Have they seen the Christian run riots and so on? They are the one who belittle Christianity. What is your opinion about this issue? What ever it is, I just hope that each and every one of us in the country realize that we want to live in peace and harmony.

Well, maybe they have their own reasons. Generally, if something goes wrong people would look for someone to blame instead or before they find a solution. This is a fact we should accept first and then refrain from. I'm also offended by this issue but the best way to solve this is instead of asking them "Why us?", we should ask "What should we do?".

Yep. Although more love from our neighbors is something scarce nowadays. "A little consideration" would be okay for me.

Just keep the faith, my friend. Jesus already said that if the world hates Him, what more for His followers. It has been said already, and it will continue to do so until He comes back. Instead, as He taught us, we should love them who hates us, because that was what Christ did, the reason He was crucified. The fact that we are hated so much by the world only means that Jesus Christ was telling the truth. Just remember the fruits of the Holy Spirit, let it manifest, so that the works of the enemy will not have a foothold on you.

I am totally agree with you. As a Christian, I feel that they just need more love from us. The more they hate us, the more we love them. I stumbled upon what St Thomas Aquinas once said, “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.”

If some leaders or wanna be leaders are trying to take over the government or infuse their religious beliefs into the government and use their religion to change laws and dictate how the country operates...yeah they deserve to get lash back.
No one religion is correct and right because there is zero evidence to support really any one religion if any at all. Therefore it is important to keep government separated from religion. A government should be run on morals, logic, and fact not on superstitions, mythology, and personal preference.

religion is a major cause of war, and it has been that why since the begining of time just about.
when you look at it, most religions all worship god and his people. we should all just try and put differences aside, and work together for a better world.

This is all politic plays by UMNO. They know they are losing the vote from the Malays and Muslims as many have opted for opposition party. UMNO have no more idea how to regain back the Malays and Muslims trust. So one way is to play with the religion. They claim that DAP want to make Malaysia a Christians country. That sure will make the Malays and Muslims angry and don't want DAP to lead. That is the only way. Cheap and dirty that is why we shouldn't buy anything in the paper. It is corrupted.
Anyway, I will be more than happy if there are no official religion.

I am sure you notice that, they most of the time only attack Christianity? They are trying very hard to give a bad image towards Christians in Malaysia. What I can see, the Christians are being attack, not them. Luckily, the Christians are really following the teaching of the bible, we are very patience so far. We don't over react towards the issue playing by them. But again not all of them anti Christians. They are also do not like what is going on in the country. We are peace lovers! Right?
