I can't imagine how a rehab for mylot addict would look like...

...but it would be fun because we will now meet face to face and we can chat in person ...and we will also get paid for that.
Well, it just came into my mind because I can feel now that I'm becoming a mylot addict. I'm not that active in posting though. Sometimes I just read my friends discussions then comment if I can relate to them and give them a hug when they need to. I've been missing some lotters here but I do understand they have much more important things to do. But I appreciate how they take time to still read and comment.
How about you? Are you becoming an addict too? Do you have some instances that you think you will gonna love this site forever? ...like having lots of friends and gaining a lot of knowledge?
I do have few friends and I added most of them as they keep on communicating with me here. It's fun to have a few of them who really cares. And with all the knowledge, encouragement, care and support I am receiving here, I can say I'm gonna love this site foreeeever.

If we came face to face, I would like to have a hammer in my hand. I want to bash the brains of all those who post discussions and never comment on them. And equally for those who wont discuss!
Rant, rant!
Yes, it would be nice to meet some serious mylotters, who seem to be getting fewer each day. We better have a party while there are still enough of us left!

Good thing I ALWAYS respond to mylotters comment on my discussion. So you won't be bashing my brains then, eh? But I'll join you with those who don't discuss.
How sad it is that we're getting fewer each day. So better arrange the party as soon as possible.

See, we are the web's mind. The more we gather-in (serious AND lazy), the sharper we get (more serious ones to shave off the lazy ones)!

Me for one is sure that it is surely gonna rock... if nothing less. I would be so very excited seeing and meeting the great addicts and they all will have their tales of how they got addicted, what the heck is the rehab all about and why I should not and never have it
Hmmm... Wait, I always wanted to be a writer and who knows, I can start writing out some of their biographies and I can already see it coming to a reality - Me being declared the best seller writer

I'm excited too. Though I know it's not gonna happen actually.
So you want to be a writer? Your book will surely be a hit to more than 200,000 mylotters. I guess not all of them are active but all your friends are. So it will become a big hit. So much imagination going on here. That means we're really an addict.

Have you started taking aloe vera juice. Today I have a tooth ache and I just rubbed in some sap of aloe vera and my ache has vanished. Keep at your guitar too.O.K.?

I brought 1 bottle in the office this morning. The one with mangosteen and mango flavor. I am looking everywhere for a plant but can't see anything. Don't have much time to visit an orchidarium. I'm having stomach ache now and I can't see the reason why. It's kinda like the feeling of diarrhea. I hope this goes better tomorrow. As for my guitar lessons, I studied only 5 minutes today and I just reviewed the chords. I'm having discomforts with my tummy that's why I didn't studied that much. I'll take an overtime for that tomorrow.

Addicted are we? lol, I know the feeling and wow what a party it would be. Though I have to admit we would be restrained because way too many hugs would take place.
This now my 12th month and I enjoy it just as much as I did when I finally became active!
There is not a single day I do not learn, each and every day there is something new I learn which allows me to come back daily and look forward to more.

That's it! No single day that WE learn (please include me cause I'm also learning here) and that's what keeps us wanting for more... to participate and participate and share and care and everything. Though there are some who still wants this site because of earnings and not for friendship or knowledge. Because I can see some who post a discussion even though it's not of their interest.
Um, so it's your monthsary now with mylot?

No, I'm not an addict. But I do come in everyday to post a few responses here and there. When I have more time, I post more. Sometimes, I will just read people's discussions and responses. It's really interesting to read people's comments. Yes, I think I'm going to stick with myLot for a long time.

You're not an addict??
So you're the first here to say that.
I agree with you that we get interested just by merely reading people's comments and posts.
And good thing you will stick to to mylot for a long time even though you don't consider yourself as an addict here.

@belinda
Hey, if everyone were to go for a rehab, then everyone would be cured of the addict and no one would be interested in myLot again. Nah, I don't want that to happen and I don't want to be an addict. At least, I can still come and go whenever I want. I don't want to indulge myself too much and then get bored of it later.
But seriously ... I only come into myLot through the notifications I received in my inbox. Of course, I have other things to do as well besides myLot and my time here is very limited. But myLot is really fun and educational for me. And I enjoy every minute I spent on myLot. I met a lot of great friends here and I cherish every responses I received and I am glad people liked my responses. I really can't consider myself an addict yet.
@thesids
I prefer chocolate over candies, yummy! I don't mind visiting you in the rehab centre if they serve chocolate. I'll bring you candies instead.

Personally from someone who has been here a little over 4 1/2 yrs now I can relate with this statement, and could never imagine being anywhere else. I know I have learned a lot from others here, and at times could consider myself a myLot addict. For me, it has always been about more than just the money. It is always about friendships and being able to share with others about things going on in their life and mine and helping each other out.

That's a nice thing to remember here. It's not all about money anyways. I enjoy more having talks with my friends here and so happy to feel their concern. That just overwhelms me so much. And you being here for almost 5 years, I know you gained lots of friends who really cares for you. And you're an addict too!

I guess you can say that I am an addict here, cause every time I am online I would log in and start responding and commenting. I just don;t think I need a rehab though, cause I still can constraint myself as not to find a connection on weekends or after works just to log in here.
I think I gain friends and yes a few knowledge here, but I could not say that I will be here years and years. I would probably find something more interesting in the future...

Now you're cured? So you don't need to go to rehab then? If that's the case, you will get lonely because you will not be able to chat with us addicts. Sorry if my imagination on this rehab thing is taking too far. I just can't help it actually.
I don't think I can skip mylot unless I will skip switching my laptop on. Because no matter how I think of skipping, it always ends up opening the mylot site.

I am addicted to the hope that people will answer. And really answer (not just with comforting words like Christians today do, but with action as James 4 instructs).

James 4 instructs to take action when you know what action should be done; saying, 'To know what you should do and yet not do it is a sin!'

I can't wait to see how much I really can earn doing simple things like posting and replying to other posts!

I can see how crazy you are because you're the top user hatley!!
Well, like you said, having friends all over the world is such a good thing to have and keep. Good thing there's mylot so turned to when you retired from your work. So, if ever you will retire here (which I wish you will not), at least don't forget me. Even though I'm the least that you will remember, it will certainly be most appreciated.

What an interesting concept! Mylot rehab indeed! i wonder how many of us would have to be likely candidates for this cause. how would we know if we were cured in this dilemma? I think it wouuld be something silent that sneaked its way into our lives only to remain. getting rehab for this illness may take a lot more than we bargain for.

If you already consider yourself an addict, then I am worst! Ten times even!
Every area would have a rehab center. And like you said, everybody would just be chatting around, but not face to face. We would be all wearing masks of our avatars!
And there would be no computer in sight, as I'm sure everybody's hand would start to twitch at the sight of a keyboard.

10 times?? I can see how addict you are because you're wearing a blue star!
Masks of our avatars? Mine is my own eyes so I guess I would be showing off only my eyes. How about you? A ball mask then.
And maybe for the emoticons, we will enact them as seen on our posts.

I was once an addict of this site as well that I kept on log in the whole day and make friends. Then I realized that I was not doing my part of interacting with my fellow lotters. I found myself indulge in reading and scanning what other people says. I love knowing their thoughts on how they say it as if I am actually listening to them; on how I responded I was actually talking to them face to face.
I larned many things in this site. Sometime I don't have to ask because it's already there the answer is on current discussion. It seems like we are having the same mind here. We have unity in our thoughts and mind.
It's really my dream that one day we could have a face to face meeting. Like for example if we belong in the place and province, we could arrange a date and venue for fun and acqintance meeting.
Do you think this is a good idea?
@adnileb (5276)

Meeting face to face is a nice idea. Then we will share that experience here. There's regional meeting, and then soon international meeting for mylotters.
You can really gain lots of knowledge just by reading. And interacting with the discussion will most likely enhance your knowledge more and at the same time have more friends.

Not sure if I qualify if I as an addict or not. Nonetheless, I like a tour of the rehab facility if there's one!
I will admit that there are times that I hang too much on mylot. I keep saying to myself that I will not visit the site for a number of days or I will log out early and I keep eating my words back. In a sense, mylot does have an addicting effect, especially if there's a thought stuck in my head that I cannot wait to share with others.
I do love this site. And sometimes, I think too much. I guess everything here is an excess which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Guess it's up to us users to moderate ourselves and try to make this site better and greater!

If you think you're an addict, then you're definitely qualified!
Like you, there times too when I keep telling myself not to visit mylot. And there are times I don't switch on my laptop. And in that case, I really don't visit the site. But if it's open, there's no way I can't visit or even take a peek. So, it's really addictive.

It would be fun to have such a place of rehabilitation for Mylot users, but I think it would be useless because I'm sure Mylot addiction is impossible to cure! However,it would be nice to see many convinced Mylotters together,it would definitely be very entertaining to meet many interesting people and talk to them face-to-face.I also feel that I will be for a long time on this fantastic site,so I consider myself an addict since this is my first option whenever I have time to spend online.
