we forget to think logically, and we forget about reality, we live in this fantasy world where everything just makes sense despite all the lies told.Till one day without realization, everything comes crashing down, but we still don't look at the facts or face the reality, we just want to believe that everything will be okay. In the end, things do turn out to be okay but not till you've gone through an emotional roller coaster ride,to get it...!

I agree with you asliah.Sometimes we need to fantasize in order for us to escape the real world that full of uncertainties, problems, difficulties, sadness, griefs and fears. In our fantasy world, there we can dream of what we like to be.We can do everything that in reality it does not and can not we do.There, we are very happy and fascinated and there is no room for sadness and anxiety.

I don't want to live in a world full of fantasy but I want to think positive and want to believe that all these things happen for a good reason. I agree with your, this world is never perfect, we may have things end well and live happy but that is only7 after we have gone through all the hardships.

It is healthy to imagine. But many people use it to escape everything that is not right in their lives. You must be willing to look at what is happening at the moment and if you can take action to remedy it you will be better off. Living in an emotional up and down day to day existence is not what life should be about. Reason is not a bad thing, to think first instead of just reacting to a situation and getting overly emotional does not solve the underlining problem. It is easy to react, but it takes some thought and discipline to just step back and figure out the problem and how to solve it. We often take the easy road because it is, well, easy. If you can learn from the difficult times it strengthens you for the road ahead. But first you must be willing to face it head on and analyze it to see where you can correct it. Most people are clueless to what is happening in the world around them. Manipulated by the media and the powers that be. So easy to follow instead of really seeing what is real and what is not and not just be a sheep who follows the others.

Hi asilah..
Both are the vital part of life. If you dont imagine or fantasize then life becomes worth to live. It directs us whats to do or not? I imagine but not beyond the horizon. The fantasy should have a meaning related to reality.
have a great day always.

Perhaps the reality around us turns and changes according to our internal fluctuations, and perhaps ultimately does not matter where we go but where we stop. What is reality anyway? New images, live and choose. Steps bears the imprint of asphalt and earth that is our lot to go back. Have you ever awakened from sleep early in the morning feeling like you back in another life just to walk in a dream? The reality facing the dream. Where we live and what size it now, this moment of our lives? And who can say: yes, it's the right decision, go before you on track? I can not. I can not guarantee a happy ending. And I'm terribly afraid of being cheated me. Now it does not matter. It's a little too late. Do not know which side of the scale I woke up, if still dreaming or still sleeping.

The question of what is real and what is fantasy is a very big one. I think it's a matter of perspective. From the point of view of a human being with a brain and a mind, everything it experiences is taken to be real, but from the point of view of the witness of the mind everything can be seen to be unreal and fantasy, logically so too because what your looking at when you look at an object is just your own mind. So, if you see that everything you know is only of your mind, then the question itself falls away, doesn't it. From that point of view it just doesn't make any logical sense to separate things as real or fantasy and from that state as the witness, the observer, the chair your sitting on is as real or as fake as the dream you had last night. It's all just mind. Just my point of view, thats all.

Well, it depends on your personality. There are more realistic and more idealistic people. It seems that you, like me, are a dreamer. And I would like to say that living in a fantasy world is not negative at all, I am sure about it.
We should not forget that our mind is the most wonderfull "place" in the "world". There are not so many distinctions in our mind. Present, past and future blur to shape a unique way of understanding the world around us. Maybe a fact occurred many years ago is still torturing us or maybe a future wish is guiding our actions since we were kids. But I think that we would not be humans at all without a symbolic and lush inner world. Enjoy it.

I think going through emotional roller coasters is OK. I think it is part of being human. To connect with the humanity within oneself. You learn to get through emotional lows, and to reflect and appreciate what you have when you're on the highs.
Lies are there to temper the fluctuations, and for some as a coping mechanism.

Is not that we are unwilling to face the reality. We just getting too much traumatic experiences from the past, and now, we trying to condone ourselves to believe in something fancy. A fantasy might be a good solution to it right, even though it is not for long, we might have a sweet dream temporarily. What do you think? Don't you want that also?

For me it is not wrong to think positives. Sometimes we are drive by our imagination and make sure we make it reality. It is no point if we just dream on it and we do nothing to make it come true. If there is a will there is a way! The imagination can boost us to make it real. Don't worry we can change facts so keep dreaming and keep working on it.

Yes most of us are in a world of fantasy especially when in love. When in love, our brain stops working and everything is taken over by our heart. In such cases every single is forgiven and all the heart knows is to love. This goes on till everything goes on fine. When it crashes, reality comes in front of us and that is when we realise that fantasy has fooled and made a big hole in our heart. At that time brain thinks a lot to show what reality is and that is when we realise emotions are not permanent.

i'd like to live in a fantasy world, where all my dreams would come true...
but i am here in the reality and neglecting reality means giving up on life itself.. we have to be brave enough in dealing with what what we do and to what decisions did we have to make. everything in life is full of surprises.
but i am not afraid to build a world of my fantasies, because it will be my inspiration to do good and better things that will affect my reality.
emotion is a wonderful gift and i really appreciate everything that i have been through even if it is good or bad..
