One day I would love to travel to China onen day in the future. The area that you mention sounds wonderful. I love to find out about the history and see ancient buildings. I will have to visit lovely Chengdu a few years from now. When I was 28 years old I enjoyed visiting Hong Kong.

I wasn't until I just noticed this discussion. You have hot pot in China? Well I'll be damned. How about sticky toffee pudding? If you do I shall be in heaven visiting China. I've never heard of Chengdu, but I know you have different names to the places we call them. Peking (as we called it) is now Beijing. So has it an English name like Huddersfield, or something similar? I do hope you also serve authentic Chinese food as I do like a good stir fry!

If you've never heard of chengdu,do you know pandacity or Chengtu.Chengdu is the hometown of pandas.it once called Chengtu.i think you misunderstand me.the "hot pot" is not theLancashire hotpot,we call it "huoguo"in chinese, you can call it Chinese fondue.are you clear?Chinese food is different from westen food. They are delicious.such as hotpot,it is very hot, someody cant stand it,but it is famous for its hot.that's an indescribable feeling,so comfortable.if you want known more about hotpot, you can read tis book"silly stories from cheerful china--china daily hotpot column collection"
