Sony vaio or macbook pro

hi i am an engineering student and now i wanna buy a laptop that perfectly fits my work besides using it for fun.
I narrowed down myself to 2 options.
Sony vaio i5 or macbook pro i5
Both have same specs. Can anyone help me decide it that which one i shoud buy.??
Also is MAC OS difficult to use than windows?? Regards

Since you said that you will be using your laptop mostly with school-related tasks, personally, i would choose sony VAIO over MAC. Although Mac OS is very user-friendly, there are certain limitations when it comes to the number of applications that you can install. So my advice is to choose sony VAIO. ;)

Think you should buy a MacBook Pro because I hear some negative reviews about Sony Vaio
