Ice cream from golden spoon / myLot

I just tried the cupcake flavor at golden spoon and it's my new favorite. I've tried cake batter ice cream from ben and jerry's and coldstone but they just didn't really get it right. I fell in love with the golden spoon flavor, it comes closest to the cake taste and its so smooth. Before this I never cared much for golden spoon so I was surprised to find my new favorite ice cream here! Do they have golden spoon where you live? They didn't have it in the east coast of the us, where i'm from, but they have it in california. I wonder where else it is. If you don't have it near you, what ice cream places do you go to?

Hi. sashakiddo. I have never heard of golden spoon before. This is an interesting name! I usually buy ice cream from the grocery store in the town that I live in. We have Dairy Cream and Baskin Robbins and a few other ice cream chains. I hardly ever go to these places though.

Oh, I use to go to Baskin Robbins all the time, I love their selection of flavors. They are probably the most creative with flavors, in competition with Ben and Jerrys. It's surprising that there are ice cream places that compete well with just three or four flavors.

Hi there, We have lots of different types of ice cream places around me, but I must admit I have never heard here of Golden Spoon. From your description and that type of name sounds like a wholesome owned family type ice cream shop. Something we really do not have here. Most are commercialized chains and not really the homemade type ice creams.
