There is always a lesson

For a learner and good observer, there is always something to learn, be it a bird, an insect, a flower, not to speak of the teachers or gurus.
See the simple pencils, they tell us, everything you do, will always leave a mark.
While writing with a pencil, we make mistakes, which can be erased and corrected, this reminds, I can always correct my mistakes.
The lead is always inside the pencil, it says, the most important thing in life is what you really are, is from inside and not from outside.
We have to sharpen pencils, it has the lesson, in life you will undergo painful sharpening, that will make you better in whatever you do.
While using a pencil, we have to hold it, the lesson is, to be the best you can be, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.
The painting brushes, tell us, you can paint your life your way.
I am sure you like this.
Add your thoughts too.
What inspiration we receive from nature and other simple things?
Please respond and share your valued opinion.
Thanks in advance.

Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

Learning is a continuous process. What we learn in school and colleges is nothing compared to what we learn from life's experiences. Looking at the bees, the ants and even the birds they all teach us the lessons of life.

It is hard for me to find any inspiration. If it has to do with nature or whatever.I have been like that all my life. When you have low self-esteem and had parents who were lousey at nurturing me,it is hard to be inspired! By anything! Period!

Very true. If only people would take time to ponder on the goodness every single little thing possesses, then we can all make this world a better place. That instead of complaining, always try to recognize the proverbial positive side first. Everything has it; you only need to look at it at a better and brighter perspective.

If you make a mark with a pencil but use excessive force and then try to erase the mark, it won't ever erase fully. Perhaps this can teach us that there's a point that can be passed in which your mistakes can never be fully erased.

It's very true that in every situation we're in, in every place we go, in everything we do, we always learn or get something from it. We just have to reflect and look deeper in every situation. There are so many things that we can get out of life. WE just have to be optimistic and make the most out of it.

Dear Professor,
Thanks for reminding us a great philosophy by this discussion.
I think, actually it is a theory.
Each and everything has its own lesson...
We experiment lessons everywhere. So, learning has no end.
Let us learn ....

Hi Professor, There is great wisdom in what you say here, there is indeed something for us to learn from everything. I like the way you compare the lead in a pencil to what's inside us. You are right in saying that it's what's we are like inside that really matters. We can write our life, we can paint our life anyway we choose. Nature is a great teacher for all who will watch and listen as is the simple things that most of us never give a thought to. Blessings.

Hi Professor,
I really enjoy responding to your discussions. They are so educational and worth responding. Yes, you are right. There is a lesson in whatever we have on earth. It may be tiny or huge there is a lesson for us to learn from.
The pencil for example that you have related was one of my favorite. I even started a discussion about this. Though there are a lot of inspirational short stories that have lots of lessons too, for me the 'Pencil' story is still the best.

How about you Professor, aside from the pencil story, do you have any other short inspirational parable that you like to read and read again? Please share and have a great day!

Well, we cannot ALWAYS correct our mistakes, but we can try to make up for ones we have made, and we certainly should always learn from them.
Sometimes nature inspires me in dance. Since I am a dance teacher and choreographer, the movement and sounds of nature can inspire me in choreographing a dance.

Hi Professor
Life for me is educational each day I am blessed to be able to live. Therefore everything and everyone around me provides lessons that at times we may or may take in but lessons somewhere for sure.
This also reminds me of not complaining of the hand that feeds you because in each and every opportunity there is a life lesson waiting to be heard.

Yeah, pencils...they could be really good value teachers...
I've been told by my father that I need to appreciate ants(I've always hated red ants and would kill them off in sightI was afraid to be bitten), because they are really diligent, hardworking, and they cooperate with one another very well...he said that if you look at them you will see tiny creatures helping each other, and because of this achieving to build a well fortified community...
