Hi friends and mylotters! I admit,am not getting any younger and taking an exercise is a must on my part since I don't do much at home to make me sweat and stretch my body. But am too lazy to do it,oh my! When hubby is around,I'm inspired to exercise as he really pushes me to exercise, haha! But now that he's away for work, there's nobody who can motivate me to exercise! I'm not exercising just to become sexy, hehe! I just wanna be fit and I want my body to be healthy enough and exercise is one way of having a healthy life. Do you have any idea on how I can be not lazy to exercise? Do you also exercise? What's your ways of doing it? Your tips might work with me!

Well, I think you should be aggressive with your body and tell yourself to get up and go work out. That usually works for me. If you don't have the energy to work out then buy Whey Protein and make yourself a Whey Protein shake and drink it about 30 minutes before you work out because that will give you the energy boost.

Hi there! I've heard about this whey protein and I heard that this is good especially for those who are working out. Do I get it right..whey protein makes us energetic that we should exercise to make it more work?

Hi Estii! May I ask again what does whey protein primarily do to our body? I feel I will have muscles with this, hehe! Actually,I just want to exercise to prevent myself from getting sick someday. I don't actually sweat at home, after my duties to my kids,I'm just in front of my laptop so there's really no hardwork for me to move my body and circulate my blood. See yah!

Whey Protein works with or without exercise, you should get it because I promise you that once you have it in your system that it will give the boost to get through a work out. I promise you. So, try it and tell me if it helped.

yup i'm too lazy to exercise too most of the time, hehe... but when someone inspires me or pushes me to do it, i do it anyway...but that's it, i'm so dependent on these influences. so what i do is, i walk around the mall all day window shopping, and that's almost like brisk-walking, and that's how i get my exercise. i also clean the house sometimes, but it causes me to suffer from rhinitis allergy attacks, so i still prefer window shopping as my exercise hehe. instead of taking a short ride to go to nearby places, i choose to walk instead...anyway but lately i haven't been able to do that because of the rainy weather, it's been raining for almost a week now here.

sounds like you enjoy eating at sm food courts then? hahahah. so do i. but of course, i need to do more "exercise" than eating... well sometimes i don't always stick to that rule, but most of the time, i'm pretty good at it. hehehe. yes, it's been raining a lot lately here in baguio city :(

Hi my new friend! Haha, yes,I also eat at SM foodcourts, lol! I love Razon's halo-halo,the best halo-halo ever in our country,I could say. Have you tried it already? Am not sure if you also have Razon's halo-halo in SM Baguio, wasn't able to check it out when we were there. I think it's alright to eat plenty for as long as we do some exercises, haha! I'm glad we're friends! See yah!

Hi kquiming! I went to your profile and look if you're from my country too 'cause you said it's been raining almost a week and we both have the same season and I'm right, you're a Filipina too, hehe! You are just far from me but I've been to your place years ago when it was summer. Brisk walking is what I also do whenever I go out but sadly,I don't go out often, haha! Especially now that I have nobody to be with, ngek! And it's a rainy season too that's why. Malling is a good idea but usually when I'm at malls,I just eat and eat and eat, haha! I guess I just have to discipline myself and push myself to do some exercises like what you do at malls. Thanks for the tip! See yah!

Hi amiga... Sorry amiga, i am not to exercise as i have very less time. Tell me at 5:30am i went for my job and returned at 8:30 pm. All the day is busy with college and travel. So, no way either. But i did when i was a teenager along with a student. Moreover, i have not serious health issues too. I think 200 kms journey everyday is also an exercise. take care amiga.

Hello my sweet friend I am going to be your motivator! I do exercise and have dropped it now to only 3 days a week and only for 30 minutes. I am way too skinny so had to cut it down from my usual 5 days a week for an hour. Tell yourself that if hardworkinggurl finds out I am not working out she will never let me hear the end of it. lol It is not easy but you have to tell yourself that consistency is the key. 30minutes or one hour go by so fast especially if you listen to music and or listen to the TV while doing so. I remember when my daughter was little we use to dress up in work out clothes each day and both of us use to be to jumping jack queens. She absolutely loved it because afterwards we got to play her favorite games. So each time we were ready she was eager to exercise with me.

Hello my dear dear friend! Wow,you must be so sexy my friend! 3 days a week is very much fine with me my friend,I believe can't do it 5 days a week because of my laziness, lol! And 30 minutes is ideal for me,I might have body aches when I do it in an hour,oh my,lol! I really would love to do it with my baby daughter my friend but she doesn't want me to do so! She'd say Mama what are you doing?! Be careful mama! Haha! I explained it to her and she would not let me,haha! I said immitate me baby and she will just say I'm small,I can't do it mama, haha! So hubby and I will do some exercise when baby is asleep in the morning or in the afternoon. My eldest is doing some weights exercise my friend and I admire him for it! I heard about this Zumba exercise and I really wanna do it! I heard it's a dancing form of exercise and that interests me. Will look for a cd of Zumba my friend and will do it! I will! I hope! Oh my! See yah my dear friend!

Yup, I exercise (sometimes??). How not to be lazy?? I HAVE NO IDEA. Because, I myself is so lazy! Like you, I don't wanna be sexy, just to be fit and normal weight. Because sad to say, I am overweight, and it frustrates me. Just eat small amounts of food at night, fruits or cereals are good then a bit of exercise at first week then getting harder every week. I think this works well.

Eyes can be deceiving my friend.. That picture was 5 years ago! Although I'm already chubby even before BUT with normal weight. Now, I am overweight. I really love to eat and eat. But now, I am cutting down a bit. Actually, I am gaining super weight because of my thyroid malfunction. I am hypothyroid that's why it's difficult for me to lose weight. Anyways, for you, you should do a regular exercise. Even just walking. If in case you're lazy, have a walk in the park or mall. =)

I'm actually not that fat,no problems with the food intake and no problems with being fat as I wanted to gain weight, hehe! I just need to exercise for me to feel healthy and my heart too. I'm thinking I might get diabetes if I wont exercies,oh my,oh no! Haha! See yah friend!

Personally, music motivates me to exercise. Every time I listen to music with beats it reminds me of the gym and me pushing to exercise harder. What also motivates me to exercise is the people who surround me. Most of the people around me aren't really skinny nor athletic nor really healthy. I use that as a motivation to move on.

Hello Jesuriel! Welcome here! Hmmm..you got me thinking there Jesuriel! I think I should play music with beats that tempts me to dance or exercise, haha! That's a good idea! I usually play music here that are songs of praises in the morning. I think I might try some music beats in an hour for me to get in the mood to dance or at least move, haha! You said people around you are not that skinny or healthy..how that motivates you?
@Jesuriel (267)

Yes, people around me who aren't necessarily "athletic" motivate me. These people serve to me as inspiration because when you see something that you don't want to be, you try to be better at it. For example, if I were "big" and didn't exercise and the only thing I did was eat, I would stay big. But, if I see someone like that, I try to motivate them and in the process, it motivates me. I'm not sure if you're getting my message. Well, another example is: when you go in the subway and you see hobos, you're like "Omg, I don't want to be like that in the future" The hobo serves you as an inspiration to not become like him.

Let me be your best bad example. I have sat too much for about a year now, and I have gained a lot of weight. I have no energy. We joined a gym and the trainer has given me a routine, I cannot do it all yet. It is hard work. Even just dancing will help you be fit, so put on your favorite music and get moving. Go play with your little one at the park. I think swinging in a swing is the same as doing sit ups or crunches, but it is much more fun.

Hi there! It's my first time to hear that swinging in a swing is same as doing sits up,wow! This is one thing I really like from mylotting,am learning new things and facts, thanks for this info. Yeah, you're right, with just playing with my kids can make me sweat. We just have to play running and chasing, lol! See yah!

Hi mtr guado: I am exercising everyday. I put an alarm but also I write a diary with my progress on my exercises. Today for example, I was too lazy I didn't wake up at time so I have to exercise at night but I always tell myself that I need to exercise at least onece. This is a compromise with myself that I'm accomplishing. ALVARO

I too am one of the lazy people here . I never get to exercise so I really can't share any tips. And no one is motivating me as well to exercise for my bf is very far from me. He doesn't mind me not exercising since he know I already am skinny and petite already. Although I would agree, exercising isn't just to look sexy but to stay healthy and fit as well. I do walk from our subdivision going out to the main road which is only about 300 meters walk. I don't know if that is already considered exercise and should be enough to be fit.

Hi gaiza! Sorry for my delayed reply,I was out online for a week. Walking is good enough for an exercise when you perspire but if there is no sweat,I think it's not a total walking exercise at all. But do it everyday even going up to the stairs to stay healthy

hi mtrguanlao, We all know exercise is good for our bodies to keep it fresh, even more for our health. Unfortunately, I am also not much different with you. I am very lazy to exercise. The company where I worked to provided sports facilities, many of my friends who use these facilities, but I'm still lazy to exercise, even many of those who invited me to participate in sports, but I prefer to go home. If your friend have a suggestion to eliminate this had habit, I also would really appreciate it and I thank you as so much as possible.

Well, I have the perfect solution for you. You will love it. Have you ever tried Zumba? It is an exercise dance program with very catchy music. If you search in youtube, there are hundreds of good short routines you can do right from your computer and totally free. I do this all the time. I learned the steps and now I download my own music, put my earphones on all volume and dance, dance, dance. I feel I am in a club or something like that. I is really, really fun. Anyway. Since I had my son three years ago I have been struggling with my weight. By that same time I developed hypothyroidism, and this made my challenge to loose all the weight gained during my pregnancy the double harder. No matter how much exercise I was doing my weight stayed the same. Until a couple months one of my friend told me about some natural pills to loose weight. I decided to try them and now I proudly can say I already lost 24 pound. My goal was 30 pound to reach my weight so 6 more and that's it. I sent them to my sister and she also have lost a LOT of weight. I feel very good now. I keep doing exercise because first of all I like it and second I also want to be toned. So, if you are interested just send me a Private and I gladly give you the information. But I truly recommend you to try Zumba, I love it!

hi mtrguanlao I am so handica pped now being on this bloody walker I just do not get the exercise I need to help keep my blood sugar stable I am elderly and overweight and diabetic which is not a great combo as I need to lose weight. I used to have a walking buddy and belonged to the 10000 steps club . g t a pedometer and measure the steps you take if you can get it up to 10,000 you have walked five miles and got some reallygood aerobic exercise too.get yourself a walking buddy and walk on some scenic route so you will enjoy the scenery as you walk. I have a little pedomete I use occasionally to exercise my legs but shou ld do it everyday. I need a new pair of bedroom slippers as my boot like orthopedic shoes will not fit in the foot stirrups of the pedometer.'its a good exercise for ones legs if you cannot go out and really walk. really the 10, 000 club is great as exercise and a way to keep healthy and fit too.

Hi Mtr don't do much at home to make me sweat - Visit me here at my place... there is lots of hot sun and heat with humidity here... it will take care of the sweat... Seriously, I am not allowed to do much exercise and as I am a lazy late riser, I cannot do the early morning walks either... The only exercise that I do is - exercise my brains solving the Puzzles, playing Sudoku and at times chess. How about some yoga? They say it is great for health too but some countries and religions are against this.

Yeah I can also be lazy at times to exercise because I find it to be rather tough. Still I do exercise because I don't want to have to pay doctor bills when I can save that money for something else instead. So exercise has it's benefits. If people exercised more we wouldn't really have to pay a lot of taxes. Since are tax money goes to help out obese people. What I hate that some obese people blame it on fast food and it is not the restaurants food because we make the choice if we want to eat their a lot or a little bit. For me I pretty much go on the treadmill and I also work on my crunches on one of those ab work out.
• Philippines
29 May 11
Wow,I envy you,you have a treadmill at home. It's really expensive here anime but would really love to have as I'm always at home,no time to go out that much, hehe! I'm not aware of the tax concerning obese people. So obese people blame fastfood about their overweight concerns,do I get it right? I guess, the blame should be on the person itself,if he/she doesn't want to eat on fastfoods then they shouldn't. I believe one has to have discipline on food to watch their weight. I like the idea of we should exercise so we wont see a doctor. Yes,the reason why I'd like to exercise is because I might have diabetes,it runs in our family so I just have to be more cautious. See yah!

You need to join a gym, so you can be regular. Regularity will be maintained by joining classes, if you feel hard to do exercise then you can start with yoga.It requires lesser hard work. If you exercise and then after some days you skip exercising then you could be more fatty. So yoga is a thing that if you leave yoga it not increase your health suddenly.
