I finally got $220...

I finally got $220 (and I didn't got this from any money making jobs or scheme here online, it's more of a gift from my sister). Now I wanna make good use of this amount by investing it here online, not in any MLM, but in pure internet business. My mindset and goal is geared towards ethical physical/product-based affiliate marketing. A lot of current internet experts have said that in internet affiliate marketing, you only have to work smarter and not harder...while known internet gurus would suggest the hard work. I'm even confused now... what the heck. Well, I am thinking of investing initially for a hosting service that can handle unlimited domains and bandwidth. Do you think that's a good , wise, and smart move to do for a newbie like me to jumpstart a real solid action plan??

Like most expert peoples said, learn before taking action was the wise, smart for start something. Better to use free services or the cheapest first, cause there are so much place who give the services for free or cheap price. The important is the domains name, cause the visitor will remember it, not the hosting you use. I start all from the free services and make money from it. From nothing to be something. Learn make expert while practise make it perfect.

good point there Devilova... actually I created a website using the free service of weebly. It's always good for beginners to start on free services for the learning feel. However, since it's free, it has its limit as well. Thank you Devilova.

Smashville i would suggest you to invest your money in share market because i believe you can earn money by money only. Share market though is like gamble only but if shares are bought with care it can be like fixed deposit or more than that. Therefore i would suggest you to go with it instead of affiliate market do invest in it when you get full information regarding affiliate marketing because by reading your views it seems you know not much about it & investing your money can be dangerous.

oh I'm quite sure I know a lot about affiliate marketing...even the downside of it. I wouldn't be interested on it if I didn't do my initial homework about the business. I know about shares/stock markets as well as I was able to work in a financial/banking institution before... and I'm not that good in that kind of investment. Thank you sjvg.

as you said you have rich experience of share marketing therefore i suggest you go ahead in it only i know $220 is not a big amount but i think once you lost it for nothing you will realize that its a big amount.

Good for you my friend, I hope you spend it wisely.Yeah, Ive heard about internet affiliate marketing too and the reviews are inspiring with all the testimonies of making it big for a short period of time. For me the best thing, since your a newbie is do some research first before you decide.Investing on your own domain site is good too but it also takes time before it could really earn.Good discussion my friend...

thank you stanley... I already did my research for the past 12 months. And I'm not in a hurry too to earn fast because I know in affiliate marketing, it will take a lot of patience, time and more work actually specially in putting good related content. My problem was just I couldn't put my ideas and plan into action because what's holding me was money.

one suggestion that i got from online earners is that you should only invest the money that you can spare to lose because online earning is very unsure and yes, it needs hardwork and a lot of patience to earn. maybe you can invest just a few dollars but not the whole 220. Experience is the best teacher and sometimes you have to make some risk to learn a lesson.

Thank you ddaguno... actually I only intend to spend about $70 in hosting services for a year so I can create a lot of physical product reviews website. I just wanna know from those true kind and experience internet affiliate marketers if that move of mine is a wise and sound decision.

In my opinion, and it is only my opinion, you should hold on to your money until you learn enough about an opportunity to invest on your own without other's advice. People will give you advice but will not share any losses. Investing in any successful business whether online or not requires understanding of the market you choose to enter. Whatever you decide. Good luck.

Thank you ptower, I've been doing my part on researching the trends in internet marketing for almost a year already... and I've been constantly doing so. Knowledge-wise, I could say I have an understanding of the type of internet business I want to venture into. Of course, I would not know if my ideas or what I have learned will work out for me if I will not try to put it into action.

Well, you have the right Idea. Takes money to make money and sometimes investment is a bit of a gamble. But the more you know the better chance you have. Good luck.

If you have that much money, and it is a gift from your relative, do not waste it, unless you know exactly what you are doing. Otherwise, you might as well throw that money away. I won't vote against you if you want to experience some of those online investment, you can use partial of your gift, and invest in it, even though you lose it, you might know what to do next time. Good luck!

No no no. If you choose affiliate marketing, then building a website when you're a newbie is really a bad idea. There are a lot of competition out there between you and another experienced affiliate, at least you can build your own website to promote after you really understand what is keyword, seo, traffic, content, backlinks and many more other important things. Don't believe with such thing so called gurus or another promising eBook which says it will tell you a secret to make thousands dollars a day.

well that's exactly what I've been doing for the past 12 months already; learning the curves, the ins and outs of affiliate marketing, keyword researching, SEO, backlinks, content, traffic generation, etc... I would not be interested into affiliate marketing business if I didn't made my assignment first, otherwise that would be diving into a pool with no water on it. Thank you genius277.
