Have you seen Dog Hotel?

I've seen the movie and I loved it. I think every child dreams about rescuing all the strays and every child longs for helping all the poor dogs in need. Me, I'm not different. Even now I dream of having a house with a huge yard, to be able to gather as many strays as I can. In my country there are not dog shelters to keep stray dogs alive. The authorities do almost nothing and when they do something, they just capture the strays and kill them.

That was a really good movie. I would love to have an animal rescue. I love the gizmos the kids set up for these animals..lol they were very clever.

I have not heard or seen this movie before, I will try to find it after reading others' comments on this movie. At first when I read your discussion topic, I really thought it's general dog hotel.

I have seen that movie bunny! Where they took these stray dogs and they went to this abandoned hotel and took care of them and had this system on how to feed them and how to clean their poos!! it was so cute and i love watching it too my kids love it as well!

i rate this movie as average but you are right. it is very cute. not only the dogs but also the kid who makes the inventions.

Hello Bunnybon, I haven't seen any movie called 'Dog Hotel' but I saw "Hotel for Dogs", in which the subject is similar - some kids gathered lots of strays in an old building and took good care of them. I think we are talking about the same movie here. It is a cute movie, indeed. I think I saw it twice or thrice and I would see it again any time. I think it is a good film for family, as children have to learn something from it.

No, I've never seen it but I bet it's cute. I know my son would like it because he loves movies with dogs in it. He has several movies that have dogs in them and he loves to sit down and watch them. I'd like to watch it sometime.

We watched it on tv the other day. It really was cute. And why not consider fostering a dog? Many of the rescue groups look for foster homes for the animals because they don't have enough room at their facilities. Because of this, many are turned away, and sadly they end up at the shelter or dumped. Some places even ask for volunteers to come in and spend time with the animals there, to show them love and socialize them. You might consider that instead.

I've not seen the movie but would love to do so. I can't get it on my non-cable tv. When I was a kid I always said that when I grew up, I wanted to be rich and have a no-kill animal shelter with no restrictions on the capacity. I didn't get rich and so I didn't have the shelter. But would still like to have it.

My daughter's dream was to have a an old house with a barn and take in strays of all kinds. From rats to horses. It was a grand idea. We just never had the money to do it. Are lucky for what we have. But, ya that would be cool. Maybe she and I will have to see that movie at some point.

That is a great movie! I really enjoyed it and yes yes yes...I have always wanted to take in strays. I love them all and everytime I go to donate to the local shelter, I come away heartbroken trying to figure out a way that I could take them all. One of these days I want a farm with plenty of land. It's a dream, but who knows? The hotel in the movies seemed to work out nice after those kids go a hold of it..lol

My daughter is a dog lover and because of that fact, I did have to take her to see this movie when it came out in the theater. I thought it was a really cute movie because of the fact that it was such a humanitarian movie. I understand that it was a movie that was made for children, but I also have to admit that I loved it and I've watched it a couple of times since it has been available on DVD because of the fact that my daughter also used her money to buy this on DVD when it became available.

I have not seen Hotel Dog, as I see someone corrected the name. It sounds cute and fun. So one that I will have to get rented. I do enjoy movies with dogs so this one will be a must see for me.

Yes I have seen the movie, watched it twice this past weekend. it was on Saturday and again on Sunday, would watch it again too. just loved the movie, all way's wanted take in lot's of animal's that no one wanted.

I have not seen this movie or even heard of it but I love films with animals in. I adored the film called Babe, it was a tremendous film. Then i watched the movie called Marley and Me and I was heartbroken, I cried my eyes out because it was so sad! But animals make great films, think of the wonderful Disney cartoon characters that we have seen in the movies.

No, i have not seen the movie. I use to watch movies alot but don't watch them much anymore. I don't like to see any dogs mistreated like so many are.
