Un-subs aka Unknown Subjects. This term is uses in the hit series Criminal minds for the suspects of a crime because of the various derivatives of criminals and their unforeseeable actions.
They are called un-subs thus not to give them title at the moment but yet put them under a category of characters that is yet to be completely understood until proper and complete identification is made to this kind of person or criminal of course this is only how I view it.
I'm very fascinated with these series and doesn't know any other crime investigation show that has the same plot.
Do you know another crime and investigation show like Criminal Minds? It's not like the CSI so that's not counted.

They are called unsubs because the identity is not yet known, not because of what crime they have committed. The term un sub is not a categorization of the type of crime they have committed, because that information is known.
I, too,am very fascinated by these type of shows. The human mind is truly a wonderful and amazing thing. It boggles my mind how the minds of others get so twisted and warped and allows them to do the evil they do.

Actually they say in the show that they're called "unsubs" instead of the nickname the press usually gives a serial killer because the nickname could narrow their thinking process.
For example in that episode the killer was named after a highway because all the killings followed that one highway. Only in the end it was revealed he travelled by train, not by car.

My number one crime show is Criminal Minds. I love the stories, the characters and actors. I love that they tell quotes in the episodes. I started watching CSI, and the Miami and New York versions but got bored with all three of those. I love Hawaii-50 and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well, but Criminal Minds is the best. All the episodes are great but my favourite is in season 5 ep.16: Mosley Lane this one made me cry (a few of the other episodes did too)!

Sorry, freymind, but there are no other shows like Criminal Minds that I know of. There was a spin-off which I cannot remember the exact name of (Criminal Minds-something else) starring Forrest Whittaker, but it did not last long. It just did not have the same dynamics. I love Criminal Minds by the way.

Yeah and its good that there's no other show like Criminal Minds. I've tried checking other shows but not there's nothing like the Criminal Minds plot. I think I haven't seen this spin off you are referring to. I haven't watched the last seasons I hope I can catch up..

I've never watched Criminal Minds, but I think it is a show that I should get into. However, I don't like a lot of the crime type of shows and I really think that there are too many of them on the air. I've watched CSI since it came on, but like you've said, all of these different types of shows are different so it is hard to find shows that are similar. I think that you might check out Hawaii 5-0, that might be one that you enjoy.

I have to admit that I am a Crime show junkie. I do however agree that there are too many of them. I love Criminal Minds. I love CSI, too, but think that they should have just stuck to just the Vegas show, though I do so love Gary Sinese on the New York version. I love NCIS.
I tend to be a real stickler for the originals and not like the spin offs as well.
I can't seem to get into the new Hawaii 5-0.

I love watching Criminal Minds. I am planning to get an additional units regarding Abnormal Psychology because of this. The series is really fascinating as they studied behavior of serial killers and some are based in real life. I am looking for similar series like this too.
